What To Expect
Tour guide pick up you at the hotel lobby in Hoi An ancient town then visit a local market hear you learn how local peope purchase their products and buy some ingredients will be used for cooking lessson later. Transfer to fishing village by car, passing beautiful rice paddy field, going up to the Cua Dai river and heading for Bay Mau nipa (water coconut palm forest) grove where you can discover the daily life of the local fisherman there. Catch a Bamboo basket boat trip into water coconut palm forest with local fisherman Explore the water palm coconut paradise. Learning and sharing fishing experience with local fishermen by catching fish and purple crabs with unique fishing nets, make souuvenirs with palm leaves. Get to know more about Vietnamese–American war, interesting & true stories happened during the war time. Having a very interesting Cooking lesson, then enjoy a very delicious lunch or dinner. Tour finish tour guide will return you back to hotel.

5.00The weather was wet and we were at a loss at what to do. We joined this tour on the day an what fun we had. The experience was one of our highlights in Vietnam. Great hosts, amazing cooking class, lots of food. Definitely will always remember this experience with such joy

5.00I must recommend this half day activity tour 100%! Pick up from hotel was timely taking us to a local food market where all things Vietnamese were explained to us. Then off to enjoy some fun on the river in coracle coconut boats with very funny locals. After which we enjoyed a really fun , efficient , active cookery course learning to cook some well known dishes from scratch. All the staff were excellent particularly Ken who was so knowledgeable and helpful. We then ate all of our own freshly prepared dishes. One of our best mornings in Vietnam. Would def recommend.

5.00Amazing cooking class!!! Everything was very good. And the amount of food is also more than enough 😊 Ms Hanh is super friendly and loves explaining all the details and answers all our curiosities ❤️ We learned how to make spring rolls (fresh and friend), Bánh Xeo and Pho Bo. Water is free and at the end we were even entitled to fresh mango ❤️ I would definitely do it again!!! Great quality/price ratio! A little kiss, Patrícia, Portugal

5.00I did the cooking only class and it was great. The hosts are really fun. The cooking class was good and we made all of the food. The recipes are amazing (this was the nicest food I ate in all of Vietnam).

5.00Highly recommend this tour! You begin the tour by walking through the market and picking the ingredients from locals. Then, you take a small boat across the river and fish for crabs. Lastly, the cooking class includes a four-course meal, all of which were super tasty and fun to make! The lady teaching the class was so kind and patient, and we loved spending our morning with her.
