Amazing wildlife. Sharks, turtles, rays, and even glimpses of octopuses. Must do for Belize. The guide and captain were also both very personable and fun. Snorkel goggles could do with being a bit better though as they were a bit leaky and steamy

This was the best snorkeling excursion I've been on, and that was mostly because of how engaging and knowledgeable the guide was! It was more than worth what you pay.

Victor was a great snorkeling guide showing us fish and turtles we would have otherwise missed. Edwin the captain was super funny and a pleasure to speak with.

Edwin and George did a fantastic job! My husband and I searched through all Hol Chan options from San Pedro and I’m so happy we chose this one! From beginning to end, this crew had it covered. Edwin was full of one liners! We had a few laughs. Very patient with newbie snorkelers. I could see my teenage kids on our next trip!

We asked in advance whether the trip would be good for a 7 year old and 10 year old who were good swimmers and who had snorkeled before, and they assured us it was. That was not true. The staff rushed us in the water when at Hol Chan even when we needed to take it slow with the kids. The gentleman with us had very little experience with kids and was not patient or good at explaining the fish we were seeing. We were the only customers under his watch but he literally was dragging us by our lifevests when he felt we were moving too slow. The younger kids did not enjoy that at all. The shark ray spot was great for the adults and big kids but the young kids were too shaken up from the first snorkeling part and didn't go in the water again. We grabbed breakfast at the Blue Tang before the trip and it was simple but a good value.

A little longer that the typical half day snorkeling packages. That extra time is used for sailing to/from/in between the snorkeling sites, which is enjoyable. Staff/crew are helpful. Our guide towed my mom against the current so she would be able to continue with the activity.

Great experience! Our guides Edwin and Jorge were super friendly and welcoming, allowing us to see lots of unique fish and coral along with swimming with sharks and rays. When they said “make yourselves feel at home,” they meant it; we were allowed to move freely about the boat and I was even allowed to connect my phone to play music for everyone. Our group was only 6 people total so it felt like a truly personal experience. Would recommend!!
