I’ve been on five continents and this was the worst tour I’ve ever been on. The tour description is misleading. It says that the tour is a coach tour. It is not. It was eight hours of walking. No lunch break. The tour description says you will be returned to your pickup point at the end of the day. The guide left our tour at the top of Victoria Peak. I realized I’d made a mistake booking this when the first words out of the tour guide’s mouth were “can you show me a copy of the itinerary so that I know where we’re going this morning?”. After I’d showed her the next thing she said was “I walk fast. You have my WhatsApp number. If you lose me just go into a shop and ask them to call me “. And she talked endlessly about how expensive real estate is in Hong Kong. Avoid this tour and any others by the same tour company, Century Holiday

There was a clear lack of communication in booking this tour. The description said it was in coach but it was 9 hours of walking. We walked through the flower market, we walked through the bird market, we walked to the ferry and we walked to the tram. Our guide seemed either inexperienced or extremely old fashioned. She had tattered old photos to show and her comments seemed to be limited to telling us about local rents and feng shui. There was one tea break and no lunch.

This is a walking tour that incorporates many historical spaces as well as the financial district. If you are into historical trivia, this tour is for you. Every tour of Hong Kong seems to include the Peak Tram. Thankfully the team was closed for maintenance (the stop was on 2 of our previous tours) and we took the escalator instead. We enjoy taking public transit to get a feel if the places we visit, so the streetcar and Star Ferry were welcomed modes of transportation. Our guide is a soft spoken n woman do we had to listen very carefully

I had a truly memorable day in Hong Kong and Ingrid was just fab. Despite it being a group tour I was the only one so we were able to do as little or as much of places that we wanted and to choose how to get to them. There were lots of people around as it was Chinese New Year but it didn't phase Ingrid and we ended up walking for 9 hours visiting everything but the time whizzed by as it such fun. I would totally and utterly recommend this tour to anyone!

We only had one day in Hong Kong en route home from South East Asia. We hadn’t sorted out the public transport system and, being short of time, decided to do a half day tour. The main things we wanted to see were Victoria Peak and Stanley Bay hence chose this tour. We were the only ones on the tour (6 of us), and Peter the guide was really good - told us a lot about Hong Kong and was interesting and quite humorous. The “fishing village” is not a fishing village but a marina of luxury boats. 3 of us did the Sampan ride which they reported was quite good. As a family of 6 those things do add up in price when you’ve already paid for the tour. The jewellery factory was just a hard sell for us to buy jewellery we didn’t want, should definitely just be an optional stop. Our saleswoman seemed quite upset we didn’t buy anything but we definitely weren’t their clientele! Overall the tour was good for us to see the things we wanted to in reasonably quick time. Also included tickets on a double decker bus to use afterwards which was good.
