What To Expect
Tokmok
In the morning you’ll be picked up from a hotel to start your exciting tour. We’ll head towards Burana Tower to the small town of Tokmok (80km from Bishkek). You will drive along the border with Kazakhstan and, if the weather is clear, you will see the beautiful scenery of the Tien Shan mountains. Tokmak was the second largest industrial city in Kyrgyzstan during the Soviet times, and you can see some of the Soviet monuments while driving through the city. Then you will pass through several small but picturesque villages, and you will be able to see the life of the locals outside the capital.
Burana Tower and Konorchek Canyon
Your guide will show you the mausoleums and other buildings discovered by archaeologists during excavations, you will have a chance to climb to the top of the ancient tower, where there is a beautiful view of the Chui valley and the Tien-Shan mountains open. Visit the small museum, which presents various archaeological artifacts, as well as an open-air museum, which contains ancient gravestones, rock drawings, and other interesting historical objects found on the territory of our country. After we’ll resume our way to Chon Kemin National Park

5.00The whole experience was one of the best days for me. Tariel is a wonderful, knowledgeable guide and the trip was beyond words. For anyone considering this tour, please do not hesitate. You will experience amazing history, eat beautiful authentic home cooked food in a village in Chon Kemin, and experience breathtaking views. I was sad to leave! Thank you Tariel and Datka!

5.00We had an unforgettable experience visiting the Burana Tower and going horseback riding in Chong Kemin National Park. The combination of history, nature, and adventure was truly magical. What made the tour even more special was our guide, Anvar – incredibly attentive, kind, and deeply knowledgeable about Kyrgyz history and culture. We lemearned so much about the ancient Silk Road, the significance of the Burana Tower, and the traditions of the Kyrgyz people. Horseback riding through the scenic valleys of Chong Kemin was a dream come true — peaceful, refreshing, and surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. 5.00Really enjoyed our recent trip to Chon Kemin National park. Our guide Anvar was friendly and helpful. He pointed out landmarks / shared interesting facts about the area during our drive out of Bishkek and patiently answered any questions we had. The drive to Burana tower and then Chon Kemin was long but comfortable. The highlight of our trip was definitely the horse riding experience through the national park. Being surrounded by mountains was a surreal experience. 10/10 would recommend this tour 💯

We were first fascinated by the visit to the legend-rich Burana tower and the intriguing carved (tomb?)stones planted nearby; then we went on for a very enjoyable ride between the mountains and apricot trees of Chon Kemin. Faruk gave his gaiters to my daughter, and we were given the freedom to roam over the green hills of Chon Kemin and gallop on a Kokpar field, which instantly released the horse's adrenaline... We appreciated Faruk's conversation, his humour, his driving, and his efforts to help us plan the next day's trip to Almaty (even though the plans were not working out as expected...) Thanks a lot, Faruk!

5.00I had an amazing experience on this tour and would absolutely give it 5 stars! The day was full of highlights — I loved the horses, the incredible view from the top of Burana Tower, and the delicious lunch. Our guide, Anvar, was fantastic — super friendly, helpful, and really made the day feel special. The family at the horse farm was also amazing and made us feel so welcome. Just a heads-up: the stairs up to Burana Tower are very narrow, so if you’re claustrophobic it could be a little tricky. But the view from the top is absolutely worth it! Overall, it was a great day — long and tiring, but in the very best way. Highly recommend this tour if you want a perfect mix of nature, history, and authentic local hospitality!
