Ballooning near Geelong, Victoria’s second - largest city, offers a spectacular mix of coastal and rural scenery. From the air, passengers enjoy views of rolling green hills, farmland, the winding Barwon River, and the sweeping coastline of Port Phillip Bay. On clear mornings, sights may extend to the You Yangs and out toward the ocean.
Flights launch from various locations depending on wind conditions, including Geelong itself, Murgheboluc, Bannockburn, and across the Bellarine Peninsula. Each launch site provides a unique and memorable perspective of the region.
Balloon flights operate year - round, weather permitting, with peak availability from November to March. It is an exceptional way to experience one of Victoria’s most diverse landscapes.
Geelong is just over an hour’s drive from Melbourne, making it ideal for a day trip or a relaxing overnight stay in the Geelong and Bellarine region.

5.00Absolutely magical experience, loved every minute. Was a little nervous beforehand but there was no need to be, the team seemed very experienced and watching the balloon get inflated was so cool that I forgot about the nerves! So beautiful floating above the trees, clouds and over Geelong then towards the Bellarine Peninsula back down over the river and paddocks before a very gentle landing. Thought it would be a once in a lifetime experience, but I’m already planning when I can go again.
