  The balloon flight was an overall amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone. A significantly later than advertised pickup was a bit of a disappointing start to the day, and the van was less than comfortable, but that was soon forgotten once we arrived at the take off site. Our pilot spoke very good English and gave a lot of information about the sites we drifted over, and very clear instructions when needed. We reached heights of 2000 feet above the temples of Hatshepsut and the nearby Medinat Habu and the pilot made regular 360 degree spins to make sure everybody experienced the spectacular views. I would definitely book this experience again if we revisit Luxor. Word to the wise, depending on time of year and time of flight it may be necessary to wrap up warm.

  I really enjoyed the Sunrise balloon trip and Mr. Ahmed Hassan was very decent. If you go during the winter season, make sure you wear warm clothes as it can get super cold before sunrise.

  If you came to Luxor and didn't try hot air balloon ride, so you missed the most iconic aerial view of Luxor. Ticket price is not too expensive, the views you get in this price tag is worth single penny.

  Exploring luxor's ancient wonders on the ground is one thing , but seeing them from a hot air balloon? Mind blowing. It felt like I was floating throgh time , with temples and tombs spread out below me .

  I have traveled around the world and experienced many tours and sightseeing, and none by FAR have came close to comparison to touring with Ahmed! Very well rounded and super knowledgeable and informative about the attraction and the rich history Luxor has to offer. Not to mention the flexibility due to our flight changes and remained super positive through it all! He’s fluent in English, Russian, German, and of course Arabic! If you ever think about coming, please don’t hesitate to book with Ahmed! You will definitely thank me later….
