We bought a combined Strauss museum and concert ticket and on the confirmation it told us to be there at 7.pm. This was to give us enough time to look around the Strauss museum ready for the concert at 8.30. It's not a museum as has no artifacts, it's only a history of the Strauss family and could be done in about 20 minutes. So there was alot of waiting around. It was worth the wait as the hour long concert was amazing with an opera singer for two of the pieces. The front two rows of chairs had pads on them and some were reserved, however my friend and I sat in the front row on two of these chairs that were not reserved. So we had a great view (the theatre style set up is not tiered). Definitely recommend, however be mindful you probably don't need 1.5 hours in the 'museum' section.

Very nice, informative and also fun museum! Extremely friendly reception and many stations to look at and also join in yourself! The highlight is the big hall, where all four ostriches really played back then! Be sure to look at it!! Is easy to reach by U6 to Spittelau and from there a few minutes walk!

I write here with pleasure and recommendation and praise the HouseofStrauss for its entertaining and elegant cultural heritage. I went to see the museum and the Strauss concert with my girlfriend. A historical journey through time that brought the Strauss family and their life's work closer to us. The museum was varied with its colorful and modern design and even equipped with a small quiz. The most impressive for us was the magnificent hall. With the lighting effects, during the concert, it shone in all its facets!! To the orchestra I would also like to praise the violinist for his incredible sympathy! Thank you for this experience!

A great experience! Especially the multimedia show in the concert hall is very special. We then looked at them twice and afterwards ate very well there.

Nice place, however perceives itself as quite expensive for a small museum but we do not feel fooled either because many special effects, private museum and little attended. We learn a lot about the Strauss dynasty of musicians. This makes you visit the city as it is located in a district far from the historic center. Nice walk but not necessary if you have little time
