Me and my wife recently visited Bhutan with Bhutan First Adventure was truly an unforgettable experience, filled with breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and warm hospitality. The journey took us through some of Bhutan’s most beautiful destinations — from the vibrant capital of Thimphu to the serene and stunning Phobjikha Valley, a glacial valley known for its untouched natural beauty. The visit to the magnificent Punakha Dzong was a highlight, with its striking architecture set between two rivers. Exploring the charming Paro Valley was equally delightful, and the tour concluded with the iconic Tiger’s Nest hike — a challenging yet incredibly rewarding experience that was absolutely worth every step. A special appreciation to Mr. Bharat, the coordinator, for planning such a seamless and well-organized itinerary. Everything was perfectly arranged, allowing us to enjoy the trip without any worries. Our guide, Sangay, was exceptional — highly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing Bhutan’s history, culture, and traditions. His insights made every place we visited more meaningful. Our driver, Dechen, ensured a safe and comfortable journey throughout, navigating the mountain roads with great skill and care. What truly stood out was their dedication — both Sangay and Dechen went the extra mile by accommodating early starts and extending our time at places whenever needed, ensuring we made the most of every moment. Bhutan is truly a magical destination, and Bhutan First Adventure made our experience even more special. Thank you once again entire team of Bhutan First Adventure.

I had the best time in Bhutan thanks to BFA! I booked my trip last minute and yet they managed to arrange everything perfectly (visa, flights, hotel, itinerary, diet, etc). I had the luck to travel with the guide Tashi and the driver Yoenten. They went out of their way to make me feel home and to have the best experience. Tashi is an amazing guide and a wonderful person with vast knowledge about the culture & nature in Bhutan and more. I learnt a lot from him and had tons of fun on the trip. Highly recommended and looking forward to visiting Bhutan again!

We were some of the first travelers entering Bhutan post pandemic closure. We spent 9 days, sort of 1/2 cultural and half tracking, and had a great time. We went with Trans Bhutan Trail in the first 1/2 of October 2022. Everything worked out for us as we had a guide and driver but the guide had to make adjustments as some places are not fully back and running. We were in the main towns and there were at least some other travelers everywhere we went …and so there’s enough capacity coming back to cover for the missing hotels or restaurants. There’s good news too in that the government used the pandemic to do some restoration. For example, there’s a new tea house 1/2 way up to the Tiger’s Nest and it’s quite attractive. All in all, our trip, and the country and people are low stress and we did everything we wanted to do. I write this review just to reassure people that the tourist sector is back and functioning and the the places that have not fully opened didn’t impact our trip. Further, some of the hotels we stayed at were adding rooms or new hotels were going up in and around town. Also, I do recommend Trans Bhutan Trail. I liked the idea of restoration of the abandoned main trail system across Bhutan. We only saw one other group of hikers on the trails sections we visited and noticed one set of mountain bike tracks.
