What To Expect
Cusco
We will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the train station in Ollantaytambo, where you will board the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, our guide will be waiting for you. From the train station, we will walk to the bus station, where you will board the shuttle bus to Machu Picchu. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes. At the entrance gate of the Machu Picchu citadel, we will go through the control point and begin the visit following Circuit 3 (Royalty Route).
After entering the Citadel of Machu Picchu, we will head to the entrance of the famous Huayna Picchu Mountain to begin the ascent, where we will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the entire archaeological complex. After completing the hike, we will continue with a guided tour of the most important areas of the Machu Picchu Inca City. Please note that visitors climbing Huayna Picchu must explore the citadel using Circuit No. 3, which is the designated route for this experience. Once the guided tour is finished, we will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (lunch not included). In the afternoon, we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.

A guide and tour worth doing again. From pick up at hotel, tour, sites to dining and fabulous meals i would do this tour all over again with Roland. He is definitely a gem.

He was fun, selected excellent restaurants with a variety of dietary needs. He added extras that everyone enjoyed. You can tell he is well respected in the industry by the way other guides interact with him. The vans are new and spacious. Everything with Crossover Peru is done with care and professionalism. He went above and beyond for us and our guests! I highly recommend!!

5.00One of the most amazing experiences we have ever had. Our tour guide Yaritza was top notch from contacting us the day before to arranging everything ahead of time. Shuttle to train, train tickets, bus tickets and entrance to Machu Picchu. First class all the way bypassing any long line ups. She really knows her stuff regarding the Inca history and was very patient while doing the Huayna Picchu hike and even encouraged me to take little breaks to get my breath. I can’t say enough about her, she was like having a good friend along with us for this tour! Highly recommended taking this tour and hopefully you could get Yaritza as your guide as well.

5.00An absolutely amazing experience! Our guide took care of everything. We just had to show up for our pick up and he walked us through every step of the process. This was way easier than trying to navigate the bus/train rides and entrance process for Machu And Huanya Picchu.
