Join us for an unforgettable journey to the beautiful waters of Samaná, where these majestic whales return to mate and give birth. Your adventure begins with hotel pickup, traveling through the scenic Eastern Plains, surrounded by lush green landscapes, open fields, and charming countryside villages—an experience that sets the mood for a perfect day of discovery and excitement. We arrive at Cañitas Pier, where you’ll board a comfortable boat and head to the Humpback Whale Sanctuary. Enjoy approximately 2.5 hours at sea, guided by experienced crew members, as you watch these incredible giants leap, swim, and play in their natural habitat—an emotional and truly magical moment.

5.00Our tour guide Darius was amazing. Very impressive speaking 5 languages to accommodate all the travelers on the tour. I am an avid whale watcher so for me I would have rather spent more time whale watching than the 3 hours on Bacardi island at the beach which is a nice beach. The light breakfast and lunch was good I had no complaints. The rum and coke open bar on the boat was a nice touch. This was definitely a very long day. Most of the time is spent picking up then dropping off passengers. My pick up was at 6:05 am and I returned back to my resort at 7:30 pm. The driver was also great! Very nice and comfortable bus. They do have outlets on the seats to charge your phone. The crew on the ship was also very nice.
