Hurghada Marina
Hurghada Marina (often called Hurghada New Marina or New Marina Sakala) is a vibrant marina promenade and leisure destination located in the Sakala district of Hurghada. It stretches along the Red Sea coast next to a yacht harbor and offers a lively blend of dining, shopping and entertainment right by the water. ️ Marina & Waterfront The marina centers on a harbor with around 200 berths for yachts and boats. It’s a scenic place to stroll, relax, watch the boats, and enjoy sea breezes — especially in the evening and at sunset. ️ Restaurants, Cafes and Bars Along the waterfront boulevard you’ll find 20+ restaurants, cafes, bars and lounges offering a range of international and local cuisine — from seafood to European and Asian dishes. Dining terraces often face the water, making it a popular spot for sunset drinks and dinners. There are also special venues and beach clubs hosting live music and DJ events at night.
Mosque El Mina Masjid
El Mina Mosque (also spelled Al Mina Mosque or El Mina Masjid) is a prominent and visually striking mosque located in the heart of Hurghada, Egypt. It’s known as the largest mosque in the Red Sea Governorate and a major religious center for the local Muslim community. History & Architecture The mosque’s modern building was completed in 2012, replacing an older structure first built in 1968. It covers a large area of around 8,000 m² and can host thousands of worshippers. El Mina is built with pure white marble and features traditional Islamic architectural design, including ornate domes, intricate geometric patterns and elaborate carvings. The mosque’s twin minarets are about 40 meters tall, dominating the skyline near Hurghada’s marina area. Inside, the prayer hall is beautifully adorned with chandeliers, decorative arches, carved walls and a large central dome (about 25 m high).

Everything went as planned and right on time. Our guide (Zezo) was very friendly and it was clear that he knows a lot about Hurghada. He shared lots of interesting facts along the way. It was a really nice experience and a great way to spend time. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

This tour is a must for anyone visiting Hurghada. Thanks to Zezo, we had the opportunity to see places we definitely wouldn’t have visited on our own. We explored New Marina, both El Mina Mosque and the Church and the Fish Market. At the end, we also had time to do some shopping in local shops. Everyone we met there was really friendly. During the tour we never felt rushed - instead, we really had time to experience and get to know the city. Zezo has great knowledge and tells stories in a very engaging way. You can really feel that this is a walk with a local who knows the local life in Hurghada. He is also very friendly and funny. We could ask him anything we were curious about. My wife and I both highly recommend this tour! We will definitely come back!

I booked this tour thinking it would be an average sightseeing trip like any other. How wrong I was! Our guide, Zezo, was absolutely fantastic. Not only does he have a huge amount of knowledge and experience, but he’s also an incredibly positive, friendly, and warm person. What I appreciated the most was that he didn’t just repeat information you can read in guidebooks. Instead, he shared stories and insights from the perspective of someone who actually lives in Hurghada, which made everything much more interesting and authentic. From start to finish, everything was very well organized. Zezo made sure that both my daughter and I felt comfortable the whole time. There was no rushing, no pressure to quickly check off places from a list. On the contrary, he really tried to make the tour personal and adjusted it to our needs. We visited some very interesting places (Old Town, Marina, Fish Market, and the mosque) and all of it made a huge impression on us.I rarely write reviews, but this time I truly felt I had to. The tour was amazing and will stay in our memories for a long time. If you’re planning to explore Hurghada, definitely do it with Zezo!

Great tour and knowledgeable guide. We went to places we would never have ventured to without a guide and learned a lot about Egypt.
