Our Husky Dog sledding is carried out in an old coniferous forest so that you can enjoy beautiful Latvian forest landscapes as well.
Not sure whether you have enough warm clothes? Don't worry we'll rent you winter outdoor clothes, so that you can enjoy the event!

What To Expect
Ultimate choice for your winter activity while in Riga, Latvia. Enjoy stunning Latvian nature in 50 min drive from Riga centre with an old coniferous forest in our Husky Dog Sledge ride activity. Experience a company of friendly and excited Husky dogs who can’t wait for the ride with you. The ride will be an excitement not only for you but also for dogs. We offer you an unforgettable 3km ride through the scenic forest with up to 25km/h speed. Before the ride we’ll introduce you to our lovely dogs. During the ride you can try both: to be a musher and a passenger. Preparation for the Husky dog sledge ride will include general and safety instructions, thus letting you become a part of the Huskies team. The average time for a 3km ride of 2 ppl (musher and passenger) is 15 to 20 minutes. This public tour is run with at least 5 participants! If less then we can try to upgrade to a private tour or cancel the tour and make a full refund! In NO SNOW snow conditions and NO ICE ON THE TRACK a bike kart is used, providing the same principles of handling and similar user experience as with the sledge. BE AWARE THAT THIS ACTIVITY IS WEATHER-SENSITIVE AND CAN BE CANCELLED IN THE LAST MOMENT!

5.00Great trip. Pick up is in the Old Town Square. Approximately 30-40 minute drive to venue. You get plenty of time to stroke the dogs and take pictures. A walk to a tall viewpoint is optional. We did it and the view at the top was good. Sledge ride is great. Both people get the chance to stand one way and sit the other. The organisers take group pictures for you and make you feel welcome. Dogs are well looked after and seem to love it. Would recommend.

1.00Saturday we were supposed to go in the morning, but this was cancelled shortly beforehand. We booked for the afternoon and were ready at 2:25 pm at the agreed point. Together with four others we waited there for half an hour. We tried to e-mail, call, but to no avail. I just hope we get the money back from 2x soon. Luckily we were able to join another organization on Sunday, with whom we just had app contact. Much more direct and secure.

4.00A unique experience, very welcoming people and very kind. We had a great time. Nevertheless we were surprised to pay an extra 20 euros in cash per person to give to the driver who picked us up and take us back to Riga. Everyone on board the bus was hallucinated especially considering the price of the excursion. This should be stated directly in the advert and not in advance of the excursion when paying. A family that accompanied us had not been notified and were caught unawares during the bus ride, the driver dropped them off at a vending machine along the road. This kind of thing can leave a bitter taste to the excursion..

4.00A nice experience that I would recommend to every animal lover. Unfortunately our tour guide was a little - he did apologize tho so it wasn’t too big of a deal. He was very nice and kept the conversation alive. Once you arrive at the spot you are greeted by many huskies and they are very friendly, you can go straight up to pet them and take pictures. The actual ride is fun but unfortunately a bit short. Maybe 10 minutes as a pair (15 minutes max).
