5.00The wife and I really enjoyed our tour guide Gudjon. He had tons of information about the glacier and flora. He showed us where the filming of Rogue one took place and got us all to eat a little bit of the glacier.

5.00Our guides were Ari and Angelica, who were really engaging and knowledgeable. The tour of the caves were amazing, the views spectacular and the short trek along the glacier to get to the caves was special.

5.00We had a fantastic time on our tour today. Perfect amount of time and lots of opportunities for fun pictures. Our guide was knowledgeable and obviously enjoys what he does. We wouldn’t have been able to get out to the glacier caves on our own.

5.00The Ice Cave Tour was awesome. Being on a glacier and walking through a cave inside one is an absolute must! It's a gateway to want to do more excursions like this. Davis, our guide, was great at providing us with details about the terrain both on the way to the Ice Cave and while walking through it. Davis provided us with safety instructions and guidance making the hike extremely enjoyable.

5.00We had an amazing experience with Katlatrack. From the start, they were very efficient and timely at getting us loaded up. I felt safe on the road and on the glacier. I also really appreciated the stories, legends, and music that was shared with us! The caves were incredible to see and our guide gave us a thorough understanding of how they change and find them and that made me feel very safe.

5.00This was a very different experience, seeing Iceland's natural features up close. The guide was excellent - he gave us time to explore at our own pace and take photographs. We booked waterproofs and walking boots through the operator as we knew we might get wet. In the end it was a glorious sunny day so we got amazing views of the rocks and in the ice tunnels.

5.00We had booked the tour through Guidetoiceland and had already received an e-mail in advance with all important information (location, clothing etc.). The whole tour is very professional and well organized. We were packed into a comfortable superjeep by our knowledgeable guide, Jindra, and driven towards the ice cave. The hoppy ride with the great view of the moon-like landscape is worth the tour. During the ride you will be entertained with all sorts of information about the area and the glacier and there will be matching Icelandic music from the sound system. For the tour you are equipped with crampons and helmet and the path is well secured. The cave looks a little different every time you visit, because it is just naturally shaped. During our visit it was still rather small, but there were still great photos, as Jindra went to great lengths to take good photos of all participants. I can highly recommend the trip and the provider.

5.00Katla was easily one of our favorite days in Iceland. Guðjón, our guide out of Vík, was absolutely wonderful. He played great music from artists I recognized—but had no idea were Icelandic, which made the experience even more fun. He was also an incredibly skilled driver, navigating the tough terrain to the glacier with ease. He was patient with our group as we stopped for plenty of photos and made sure we stayed safe, offering a helping hand through more challenging areas of the glacier and ice cave. He even took thoughtful photos of each of us along the way. The glacier and ice cave were absolutely breathtaking, and we’re so grateful for such a memorable and beautiful day.
