What To Expect
Korouoma is a millions of years old fracture valley in the bedrock. At the center of the valley, it forms a magnificent gorge that drops over a 100 meters below its surrounding terrain. Korouoma is known for its magnificent icefalls that cover the tall cliffs in the winter. Korouma is hands-down the best destination for ice climbing in Finland. Bliss guide will meet the clients in the morning at the agreed place in Rovaniemi, and has prepared and packed all the relevant gear. Drive to Korouoma, which is located roughly 1 h 30 minutes by car from Rovaniemi. Hike down to canyon, climbing. After climbing brief barbecue in the canyon by a bonfire. Hike up to the parking lot. Drive back to Rovaniemi.

5.00Was exactly what we had hoped for. Our guide was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and made sure we got a full, productive day of climbing. Korouoma is absolutely beautiful place and climbing was great. Also, food provided was delicious. Would use Bliss Adventures again and can 100% recommend.

5.00We had the most incredible experience with Bliss Adventures! My daughter and I did the full-day ice climbing trip in Korouoma Canyon, and it was the highlight of our entire trip. Our two guides were absolutely amazing—patient, encouraging, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to thoroughly explain everything and made sure we felt comfortable and confident every step of the way. Neither of us had ever ice climbed before, but we always felt completely safe in their hands. What made it even more special was watching my daughter climb all the way to the top on both sides of the frozen waterfall—such an unforgettable moment! I was also able to make it to the top on one side, which felt like a huge accomplishment. Stubbard and determined. The guides struck the perfect balance of being fun, supportive, and highly experienced. You can tell they genuinely love what they do, and that energy made the entire day even better. If you’re considering ice climbing in Korouoma Canyon, don’t hesitate—Bliss Adventures is the company to go with. This was an unforgettable experience that we will be talking about for years.

5.00We had a wonderful adventure with art and this was the Highlight of our trip to Finland. Art is very friendly , knowledgeable about the climb, good at anticipating out needs . He was always ready to help . I hope we have found a new friend in him to share future adventures

5.00What a fantastic day!!! Kalev was a phenomenal guide, who was very knowledgeable about ice climbing, hiking, Finland, forests, and nature in general. He was kind and considerate and helped us feel comfortable despite pushing ourselves to the limit with a long hike and multiple ice climbs in some very cold weather. We had been bouldering before, but never ice climbing. Kalev, Radar, and Tiina were amazing instructors and coaches- somehow they not only helped us succeed at making it up the frozen waterfall but also have fun in the process!! Thank you so much to the Bliss Adventure team for giving us such a special day!

5.00Great tour, the guides were great especially as we got tired. It was a great introduction to ice climbing and we enjoyed that we got two trips. The meat pies by the fire were great as well. I cannot fault our guides (Kalev and Artturi) at all.
