Fernando Alchapar di Silva was our Guide today at Igatzu ,Brazil and we are lucky to have such a wonderful person like him who is very knowledgeable, very patient and very friendly. The first trip we took as per Fernando suggestion was the Helicopter ride over Igatzu followed by boat ride to Igatzu . These were the wonderful experience one should have in a life time . The final experience was a trail to Igatzu by walk and we had a lovely rainbow picturesque view of Igatzu Overall our experience at Igatzu with Fernando was great 👍

Absolutely amazing experience, we managed to pack in a full day seeing so much thanks to the expertise and kind attention of our guide Guillermo. With the little touches like ensuring we stayed well hydrated and getting to each part of our experience on time to get the best out of the day. ( Even a poncho for the water ride) We had an absolute ball! Highly recommend doing this excursion and especially if you have limited time, as navigating the park is huge and simple things like getting through queues quickly made a big difference or even just what route to take. We saw a lot of diverse wildlife and the falls are just incredible no photo could ever do it justice. Getting to see the Argentinian side as well as the Brazil side in one day was fantastic and again made do easy due to thils excursion. Do this. You will not regret it 🥰

If choosing between doing this experience on your own or having a guide, I would suggest having the guide. Indeed, there is no much historical information to be told and the park is open for everyone in the same manner, but having someone will facilitate the experience, which for us made a difference. We didnt have to plan how to get to the falls, where to buy the tickets and which view points to see first. Our guide made everything for us, allowing not only a smooth entrance but also checking which view point has less people at times so we got a much less busy experience! Thank you!

Great pre-trip communication. Our guide Guilherme was wonderful and speaks English and Spanish. The Argentinian hike was great. We were able to hike all 3 routes at a fast pace. Be aware that for bizarre reason, the park was declining credit cards on Visa network but Mastercard went through. By the time we got to the Brazilian park, it was around 1:45p. We bought the ticket to do the boat ride which was more expensive than the park entrance fee. The nightmare began with this boat ride. It’s not the fault of the Viator tour company, but the boat company. The wait to get on the boat was 2hr20m. It was called a safari which was a misnomer because there was nothing to see on the way to the boat ramp. The boat ride itself was super fun going under the waterfalls - be prepared to get completely wet !! But it was short under 30 min. The whole process of getting on and off the boat really needs a massive overhaul. By the time we got to the first trail on the Brazilian side, it was already after the closing time which luckily we were able to stay around because this was a private trip. So if you plan to fly out the same day, be aware of the potential massive delay if you decide to take the boat ride.

Our guide was Fernando and he was FANTASTIC. As soon as we booked the tour he contacted us to make arrangements to meet. The tour included BOTH sides of the falls and a boat ride. Fernando wad extremely friendly, knowlegesble, and accomodating for the full 9 hours of the tour. I recommend this tour 100% to anyone looking for a reliable operator to conquer both falls in one day. 5 + Stars. Thank you for the memorsble experience Fernando! FYI..be prepared to walk 4.5- 5 miles throughout the day. Some stairs and uneeven surfaces througout the parks.
