Let me start by apologizing for taking so long. But Douglas is a great guide and did everything to make sure the tour was great. Our flight was delayed twice, so we hadn't been in time for the tour. He then offered to pick us up at the airport, which meant the tour could go ahead as planned. He is open and friendly, which meant we could ask a lot of questions and learn a lot. We had booked for one day but we were so satisfied that we had booked a second day. Unfortunately my father had some health problems, but Douglas took that into account and eventually brought ours back to the airport. If you can book with Douglas, do it because it will definitely be an unforgettable trip with many beautiful experiences.

Douglas communicated via WhatsApp agreed pick-up time. Did Argentinian side on day one as he said queues to Brazil were long. Make sure you have the entry in cash 90,000 Pesos for 2 people. Douglas is very acquainted with all the routes in the National park. We were very unlucky to be caught in very heavy rain so make sure to pack rain wear! The Argentinian side is very well laid out with lots of well maintained walkways and a train to go to the upper section. We decided to miss the lower section as it was so wet. Day 2 we went to Brazilian side of the falls where the views of the falls are more panoramic and by the end you are so close to the main waterfalls. Entry can be paid by credit card at entry machines. The scale of these falls has to be seen to be believed. Douglas left us on some sections so that he could move his car to make it easier at the end, but always gave us clear instructions on meeting points. There are boat and helicopter rides available. For the boat rides (dry or wet- behind the falls) there is an additional fee over and above the boat ride of two hours for Douglas to wait. Douglas is very personable and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip despite the soaking on day one!

Douglas (owner of DGTOUR) was excellent. We booked his 2 day Private tour of both sides of the Iguazu falls. It was great we visited the falls with a Private tour, as Douglas knows how to avoid lines (to enter each park and inside the parks) . He also picked the right routes to see all the falls in the most efficient way, as it is quite complicated to get around, especially in the Argentinian side, which is huge. It was just my sister and myself. Always willing to please, to show us the best of the Iguazu falls, from his country (Brazil) and from Argentina. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Nice personality, young man with a lot of energy and eager to assist his clients in any possible way. He picked us up both days from our hotel in Puerto Iguazu, with is comfortable and air-conditioned SUV vehicle. Each day we visited one side of the falls (Brazil and then Argentina). He didn´t rush us, he allowed us to take our time to enjoy the views, take pictures, and he even pushed my sister´s wheelchair all around both parks, so she could enjoy the experience to the fullest. Therefore, if you are on a wheel chair, or have any mobility problems, you can still visit the falls with his help. We also did the Boat experience in the Brazilian side, as it is more suitable for people with limited mobility (they have an elevator. No need to climb stairs or walk long distances). If it wasn´t for Douglas, the visit would not have been the same!. I highly recommend his services. He provides other services as well, such as airport transfers and visits to other nearby attractions (Paraguay, city tours, etc.) . He also drove us to Foz de Iguazu (Brazil ) airport on the last day.

My family (a couple and our 2 adult kids in their early 20s) had the best experience with Douglas as our guide on a 2 day tour of Iguassu Falls and would highly recommend him!!! We spent 80% of our non-sleeping time in Iguassu with him and he was fantastic! He’s fluent in English, very kind, easy going, knowledgeable, interesting, a good driver, and got us through immigration, the falls, boat tour, etc very efficiently—at times we felt like we were VIPs). He offered to provide our airport transfer for when we arrived (even though we arrived just after midnight!) which was very helpful in accessing our accommodations (we didn’t speak Portuguese :( ) and finalizing our plans for the next day. He customized our visit perfectly for us, especially in avoiding crowds and the peak heat of the sun! We were a bit unsure about booking with him because he was less expensive than other operators and did not have as many reviews but we are so glad we booked him! We have no regrets and can’t imagine a better guide! He also hooked us up with the best homemade treats!! Would highly recommend Douglas!!!f

Our guide was Douglas. I start with him because he is the person that made our wonderful trip planned for two days magical in one great day. We started at our lodging in Argentina, where he picked us up (we connected on WhatsApp for specifics). We explained our ‘situation.’ He was totally accommodating. We met at 7:50 AM at our lodging and discussed options. Throughout the day Douglas provided information and options; after discussion and thought, with his assistance, we made plans. As the day progressed, we changed and amended plans. Douglas was the sole reason we were able to accomplish all we desired, on both sides of the falls, in one day. He is wonderful. We cannot express more gratitude for his experience, knowledge, capabilities and/or execution, during a Presidential visit, than this review. He is simply great (a/k/a The Man). We cannot recommend him more. Book with him, your day will be fantastic, either in one day or two. Enjoy! #the_vacationist

We had the chance to visit the beautiful falls of Iguaçu, on the Brazilian and Argentine side, with Douglas. From the very beginning, he made every effort to ensure that we discovered the best views and took full advantage of every step. Always attentive and attentive, he was perfectly able to respond to all our requests. The day before the visit, I triggered a strong sciatica. Thanks to his professionalism and kindness, Douglas has adapted the whole organization so that I can enjoy this experience safely and comfortably: provision of a wheelchair, use of a cart, easy access thanks to the proximity of his vehicle... everything has been thought through. A huge thank you to Douglas for his availability, kindness and support. Thanks to him, we will keep an unforgettable memory of these two exceptional days in the heart of a magnificent natural site. Many thanks to you Douglas.❤️

This was a great trip. Each day divided between countries gives you plenty of time in the afternoon to do other things. Every detail was well very well planned. Douglas was kind & very knowledgeable of all things Iguazu. He worked out the details to avoid long lines & crowds. He spoke very good English. A tour guide can make or break a tour. Douglas made this a very memorable trip. I highly recommend this 2 day tour with Douglas. You won’t be disappointed!
