You will be picked-up from your hotel between 06:00 – 06.30 a.m. in our private transport. Along the way, we will stop in the town of Ollantaytambo to have breakfast and/or buy snacks. From here we will travel for another one hour to Abra Malaga, 4,316 m.a.s.l. (highest point) where will start our bike ride adventure. We will enjoy a relaxing three-hour bike ride (downhill) that has a decent of 2km, taking in the breathtaking view of cloud forest all the way to the town of Alfamayo where we will have lunch.
Sacred Valley
In the afternoon, you will participate in a rafting tour on the Vilcanota river (class III, IV). From here we will head to our hostel to relax, have dinner and a good nights sleep!

Breakfast will be served at 6am so that we can be ready to set off on our hike by 06:30 a.m. to Santa Teresa (16 km). The first two hours of our tour will be uphill, which is part of an authentic Inca Trail. On the way, we will have several stops to learn more about the rich flora and fauna of the area. We will cross a section of the Inca trail that once connected the sacred city of Machu Picchu with the city of Vilcabamba (the lost city of the Incas), where our guide will explain in detail the significance of these places,the history of the Inkas and the communication system they had. We will have lunch in Quellomayo. Note that the trail is hilly. We will hike for another 3 hours reaching the thermal baths of Colcamayo where we will have time to relax and enjoy the therapeutic waters. Our final destination is the village of Santa Teresa where we will spend our second night in a hostel.

Breakfast will be served at 7am. At 7.30am you will have the option to partake in a Zip Line activity; continue hiking; or free time to relax. At 11:30 am you will be transported by bus to Hydroelectrica, where we will have lunch. After lunch, we will hike for 3 hours along the famous train line to Aguas Calientes, where we will check-in to our hostel. We will have dinner at 7pm followed by free time.

Very early after breakfast (approximately 05:00 a.m.), we’ll begin our hike to the citadel of Machu Picchu, which will take around 1.5 hours. We will arrive around 7am and have a two-hour guided tour of the most important buildings of Machu Picchu including the Inka temples and palaces. At the appropriate time, we’ll descend from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Ollantaytambo and from there, the bus to Cusco; or for those taking the bus back to Cusco (7 hours) start the 3 hour hike back to Hydroelectrica, where your bus transfer will be waiting.

5.00Had the best days in the jungle with our guide Marco, he took his time telling us information and facts about the jungle and had a great eye for spotting out all the cool animals we got to see and hear throughout our whole trip ! Couldn’t have wished for a better experience, Marco really went out his way to make sure we had an amazing time and we’re so happy with our trip !

5.00I've known and used the services of Marco at 'Bloody Bueno Peru' since 2008. He's the original free walking tour in Cusco Peru. Bloody Bueno Peru, do tours all over Cusco, Machu Picchu and the rest of Peru. Not just free walking tours in Cusco. So far, I've taken several different tours around Cusco and Machu Picchu with Marco. And his knowledge of the area and its history, has left me awe struck. Plus, his language skills and overall friendliness have impressed me every time and kept me coming back. Bloody Bueno Peru are the best tour company in Cusco. 5.00Honestly one of the best experiences of my life. I recently went on this Inca jungle tour doing multiple activities such as, downhill mountain biking, water rafting, soaking in the thermal baths and hiking up to see the amazing site of Machu Picchu, which was breathtaking and also emotional, in a good way. All of this was made possible by our tour guide Marco who was incredible, I felt like I’ve made a friend for life, he made everything we did feel safe and he also had incredible knowledge of the jungle and Mach picchu itself, this jungle trek is an adventure I’d recommend to anyone, a break from reality and being at one with nature, truly and amazing experience.

5.00I done the 3 night 4 day inca jungle tour to Machu Picchu with 7 other friends. Marco was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we was there first thing which lead to us all not having to wait around. His tours was great and made our tour the best he possibly could. Amazing memories made would definitely recommend anybody to do this tour.

5.00What a legend. We did the 3 night 4 day Inca trail to machu Picchu with mountain biking , white water rafting and some great walks and experiences I don't want to spoil. Marcus is a great guy and gave a whole group a trip to remember.

5.00Best company to choose when going to Peru on vaccation. Marco and his wife Nathalie organized a complete travel package for us and were very patient with us and changed everything until we were happy. Their english was very good and the communication was easy and very fast. The chosen companies that hosted the tours were great aswell. We did not need to do anything and had a complete stress free vacation. We went to the colca canyon, did the salkantay track, went to huacachina with the sand buggy, made a jungle tour in the amazonas and much, much more. They organized the transfers from to each destination. All in all the price to quality ratio was very good! We feel like we did the best things you can do in the time we had. Thanks so much!

5.00We did the Jungle Trek with Nario, he was a brilliant guide with a wealth of never ending knowledge! The mountain biking, rafting and zip lining were amazing and the day of hiking was sweaty but very fun! We initially were disappointed to not have other people on the tour, but ended up being better as Nario tailored the trip to us! Highly recommend Bloody Bueno to all! Excellent communication and service!

5.00Guillermo/Amaru was awesome! The trip was great it was a good mix of relaxation and adventure. If you want the true hiking experience I'd suggest looking at their other tours. However, the hotels were great, the bike ride was gorgeous and if you get the chance try and stay in Aguas Calientes for a couple nights, very cool mountain town.
