• Best Tour outside of Hanoi

  This was an amazing tour, and one I would highly recommend. Our tour guide was amazing, took great care of us, such as providing us cushions for the boat trip and ran around to take pictures of us along the boat route. It started with really learning about the incense industry, visiting several sites engaged in various steps in the process and meeting the people involved. Then we had plenty of time for pictures in the incense area. Then the Halong Bay on Land boat ride was beautiful, and pictures don't really do the scenery justice. Lunch was so delicious as well. Last was the trip to the old capital, which was highly interesting and fun to visit. Overall, this tour included the top things we wanted to see outside of Hanoi all in one tour. It was not strenuous like other tours going to Halong Bay on Land, which requires long hikes. So it was a very pleasant, easy-going tour. We loved it!!

  Wonderful experience start to finish! We chose Thai tour as the incense village sounded interesting and something we’d not seen before. Our guide contacted us by WhatsApp a few days before to introduce themselves and confirm pick up arrangements. On the day they texted to day when they would be on their way and he arrived early and was waiting for us in our lobby. The bus we had for the day was luxurious and comefortable with good aircon. Our guide - Bruce Lee - was amazing he was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well. He also had everything well prepared including umbrellas for the hot sun, water and cold towels every time we needed something. The small group tour was great - we were only 5 people which was nice. The highlight was definitely the boat trip down the river in Ninh Binh the scenery was breath taking and it was very peaceful despite there being a number of other tourists. We also visited an accent temple in the old capital which was also picturesque. I haven’t been on an organised tour before as generally I don’t prefer it but this was so convenient and so good I would definitely recommend Vietnam Stunning Tours. Since we only had 4 days in Hanoi doing an organised trip meant we could see more places. I’d definitely use them again.

  It was a wonderful trip.. whereby our Guide has explained of all process of incense sticks .. and it is a nice place for photographs ..

  An overly hyped tour which could've been done in $50. The incense village was great but the photo opp comes at the end and it is a made-up spot to attract tourists. Still great if you want amazing insta photos and want to learn about how they are made. The roads were a bit dirty. The next stop was the temple which was nice. Third stop was the boat ride. Again, a good experience but mine was affected by gloomy weather and a drizzle. The place was overcrowded but we were well taken care of by the local tour company. The guide wasn't that great but he was very helpful in making sure that we were provided with the best comfort.
