Such a great experience. Incense Vilage, The information from the beginning of the process to the end result of the most beautiful colours. Our Guide knows alot about our visit which is super helpful. We visited former capital of Vietnam Hoa Lu, history is great to understand Vietnam abit more. Our lunch in Ninh Binh was amazing, such a huge selection. My highlight of the day was the Sampan Boats along the Tam Coc River ( Ha Long on land) Magical ! With Winsome Vietnam vacation tours they definitely think of the extra comfort of their customers, right down to umbrellas and seat cushions for our boat ride.

This tour to the Incense Village and Ninh Binh was an absolute highlight of our Vietnam trip. From the moment we arrived at the Incense Village, we were immersed in color, culture, and tradition. It was fascinating to learn about the craftsmanship behind incense making and to see such a beautiful, authentic side of Vietnam. Ninh Binh was simply breathtaking. Often described as “Ha Long Bay on land,” the scenery completely lived up to the name. The boat ride through towering limestone cliffs, peaceful waterways, and lush greenery was serene and unforgettable—hands down one of the most beautiful landscapes we’ve ever experienced. What truly made this tour exceptional, though, was our guide, Bruce Lee. He was funny, incredibly informative, and you could genuinely tell how much he loves his job and his country. His passion for Vietnam shined through in every story he told. He answered all of our questions with care and detail, making the history, culture, and daily life of Vietnam come alive in a way that felt personal and engaging. Bruce’s energy, knowledge, and warmth elevated this experience from great to truly memorable. If you’re considering this tour, do not hesitate—and if you get Bruce Lee as your guide, consider yourself very lucky. This was an experience we’ll be talking about for a long time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!

Great way to see Ninh Binh from Hanoi. Our tour guide, Felix, was funny with great energy and always taking photos of everyone which was helpful as a couple. The Incense Village was a cool way to see local industry and learn about the process from bamboo to final product. Great memories and the lunch was excellent for a tour.

Amazing day spent seeing the must-see attractions as well as some clicking some very memorable pics. And the lunch was good as well (I’m a vegetarian and was really well catered for) . Highly recommend this good mix of instagrammable photos (incense village) + breathtaking scenery of Tam Coc + culturally rich temple excursion on your Hanoi trip. Our guide Mr. Augustine was very chatty and friendly and helped us throughout the tour and kept us entertained with plenty of Vietnamese stories and jokes.
