During this walking tour you will:
# familiarise yourself with Hermoupolis amazing industrial past,
# walk along the ruins of many 19th century factories and get to know the family stories of the people that owned them,

This wasn’t just a walking tour – it was a walk through time. Our guide brought the forgotten factories and industrial skeletons of Hermoupolis to life with stories, insight, and genuine passion. I left feeling connected to the island in a totally new way. Thank you so much for the care you put in this walking tour.

I had a personal tour with Tonia, and she was very informative and interesting to listen to. It was good to see her passion about Syros' industrial past. She also contacted me via WhatsApp to remind me of the tour start time, and provided helpful information afterwards.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Syros which is saying a lot as it was an amazing visit! The tour explored secret alleys and nooks of Syros while we learned about history, architecture, migration, trade and industry - then and now. Tonia was an exceptional tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, passionate, connected with us, and tailored the tour based on our interests. Regardless of the length of your stay in Syros, this is a must-do experience. Can’t recommend it more!
