Drangefjord ... a fjord characterized by the presence of Viking settlements, seals and the famous sea trout! The high amount of fresh water on the surface makes it an ideal place to fish it with also cod, mackerel, garfish, sole, ling and spider crabs! An expert guide will accompany you in your adventure showing you traditional fishing techniques such as fishing pots, troll nets and more; suggesting you the best fishing areas; explaining the naturalistic and cultural beauties of the Drangefjord. If we are lucky we can even spot the seal!

What To Expect

The fishing trip will start in Drange, a small village in the end of a very suggestive fjord, the Drangefjord. From here, we will sail along the coast, exploring the best fishing spots with different fishing techniques and discovering the hidden secrets of the fjord. With us, you’ll live the most traditional inshore fishing in norway, from the sea to the table.

Antonio is a super host . Friendly, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, helpful. Theres facilities at the boat side - toilet, somewhere to sit if you are waiting, beautiful area to walk around. I believe he has room for rent too at site.
Very nice experience with a great guide and beautiful views!

We had a fantastic fishing trip with Federico. He was kind to guide us to use the right tackle and techniques, and so we caught a lot of mackerel. Federico is a very knowing guide and is quite talkative. He has great humor and he really made us feel welcome. Thank you for a superior trip, Federico!

We have enjoyed this wonderful and personal fishing tour with Federico in the Djangefjord. Caught lots of mackerel and even sighted multiple seals. WOW! After the tour, Federico taught us how to clean and filet the fish we had caught. He vacuum-sealed some of our fish so they wouldn’t expire during our commute back home. Awesome guy, awesome experience!

Great experience, not only for trawling but also for all the explanations about the fjord and Norwegian culture provided by the guide. Federico made us feel at home, he was of a unique kindness and very helpful. He also took us to see the seals and taught us to fillet on the spot. We even managed to get us home but dinner. I really wanted to learn how to fish in the fjords of Norway, so when I came across this fishing trip online I decided to get in touch. I was able to contact Federico directly via WhatsApp and had the oppurtunity to ask all my questions right away! We went out on the water with Federico's boat. He explained how to fish with different techniques while also telling us interesting facts about the fjords. Afterwards we filled the caught fish together. I would definitely recommend this!

We were in Norway in August and had the chance to try fishing ourselves. It was a very nice boat trip in a gorgeous environment. Our guide was very nice, kind and pleasant and gave us a lot of interesting informations during the boat trip. We were able to catch many fish and can only recommend the experience. In November I was in Norway with some friends and had the chance to try this experience with Lyster Fishing. I was the only one in the group fishing first time and I can say it was a great experience. Luca and the rest of the team were very kind and patient with me. I even succeeded in catching a small mackerel. I recommend it! :)
