Captain Rob Hansill is a Florida native and U.S. Marine (retired). He is the father of two sons and lives in Niceville with his wife of 25 years. Rob holds a Masters endorsement on his Merchant Mariner Credential, Title 46 U.S. Code, and is certified by The United States Coast Guard National Maritime Center.
Captain Rob’s passion is to help people find their joy and manage grief. One day on the water can break a cycle of sadness. Families touched by tragedy, cancer-survivors, and combat veterans have priority. Purple Heart recipients and Wounded Warriors fish for free (Please call ahead for coordination).
All are welcome for a day “at EASE”.

What To Expect
L4K Charters provides an amazing inshore fishing experience on the sheltered waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay. Access is available from Fort Walton Beach, Niceville, and Destin, FL. Captain Rob can accommodate up to four anglers. Each trip is customized to the angler’s ability and desired experience. Anglers will target Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper, Black Drum, Flounder, Trout, and many more. Each angler will use the best Penn equipment and live baits. Anglers enjoy a smooth ride, comfortable seating, shade, and a private head (toilet). Launched in 2024, “Dress Blues” is a pristine 25’ center-console built by Dorado and powered by Mercury 300 ProXs. She is the perfect vessel for families with children, first-time anglers, as well as hard-core fishermen. Fishing license, equipment, and bait are included. Guests only need to bring drinks and snacks. EXCLUSIVE: Memory Maker trips are short-runs for quick-catches within minutes of the dock. First-time anglers and young ones may not be up for a full day on the water. This trip is designed for your young family with school-age children that want a piece of Destin Fishing.

Guests need to bring their own water and non-alcoholic beverages in a small, soft-sided cooler.
Due to dietary restrictions and allergy risks, guest need to bring appropriate snacks or meals in a small cooler.
Safety is paramount: Alcohol, Illegal Drugs, and Smoking are prohibited. Guests must be completely sober prior to boarding the vessel.

The perfect half-day trip. Anglers target Redfish, Trout, Sheepshead, Flounder, Black Drum, Black Snapper, and Jacks.
Three-Hour Inshore Fishing
The perfect trip for novice anglers to target Redfish, Trout, Snapper, and more. Guests enjoy a short trip and great catch.

5.00Captain Rob was great and we will book him every time we head south to enjoy the Destin lifestyle. It's not often you get a skilled, passionate captain that built his own boat by hand but takes pride and joy in his audience having fun and catching a range of fish. We did the 4 hour inland charter and caught 8 different species of fish. We caught monster redfish all day but our best was a large, beautiful permit. Two fathers and two sons had our best charter ever inland or out to sea so thanks to Rob putting us on fish all day long! Thanks for the great fishing and your service to our country. Book it!

Wow, they were incredible. Some of the best fish we have ever had. We are planning two outings with you next year, once this trip was not enough. 5.00My family and myself joined Captain Rob for an Inshore Fishing on the Waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay. We have young adult children that found this trip to be a lot of fun especially our son who caught the largest fish (30" or so Red Drum). Captain Rob keeps everything very light and has a great sense of humor so there were a lot of laughs to be shared along with good fishing, a beautiful, clean boat and great weather. I would highly recommend this charter for people of all ages.

5.00This was a wonderful last minute experience for our family. My kids are older but we did the 2 hour experience meant for the younger ones due to our schedule restraints but they still enjoyed it.
