If you are driving, we recommend parking at the Old Town Rose Street Multi-Storey Car Park, 24 Rose St, IV1 1NQ, conveniently located next to our departure point.
Please note: from 22nd December to 1st February 2025, Eilean Donan Castle will be closed. We will still stop at the castle for photos and access to the bridge will be available. However, the Visitor Centre and toilet facilities will be closed.

Eilean Donan Castle
After Loch Ness, our Skye Tour continues on to Eilean Donan Castle*; one of Scotland’s most photographed castles. The castle is situated on its own island at the head of Loch Duich. We take time here to explore the castle and its atmospheric surroundings.

5.00Thanks to our guide Alex who gave us lots of very interesting information during this tour, thank you for his kindness! We were able to stop at many places all more beautiful than the other! This tour also shows us the famous loch ness! The island of skye is splendid that is to see absolutely the same for the castle!! We were lucky we could visit it before the weather got worse. It was great! because very comfortable too

He was full of geological and historical information and facts which painted the picture of the landscapes and building into an even more impressive, immersive and mind blowing experience. 5.00The only way I think to see as much as possible if you dont have a car. You are driven around in a very comfy van, and hear very interesting facts from Fiona. Sky itself was amazing, very unique views

5.00Great full-day tour of the Isle of Skye, Eilean Donan Castle, and other areas in between from Inverness! First and foremost, I simply cannot express how lovely, professional, and knowledgeable Fiona (our tour guide and driver) was at all times! She was truly exceptional! This tour will give you a good sense of what the Isle of Skye has to offer, and without a doubt, it will make you want to come back to spend a much longer stay! (Something that I believe we will definitely do in the not-too-distant future). Even though the weather was a little unpredictable, we still managed to enjoy the whole experience and appreciate the magnificence of the landscapes and idyllic coastal towns. If you take into account the duration of the tour, the places you will visit, and once again, how lovely and professional your guide is, then I will say that it's worth every single penny! We definitely recommend it! Thank you, Fiona, for such a great day!

5.00The tour guide plus driver, Stewart managed to drive and give explanations all along the way. He did a very good job to avoid the crowd from other groups. His English is pretty close to standard English which makes it easier to understand. He then explained because of the severe suppression of Gaelic Scottish right after the battle of Culloden, people from Inverness do not carry a strong Scottish accent. Lots of information obtained in this tour, love that. Thank you for spelling out some special wording while explaining. It was really helpful for overseas travelers.

He was knowledgeable, understanding, and took time to allow people to experience the Scottish Highlands in the most perfect way. The tour covered Highland essentials, all in our big trip. This tour is really a sampler of the beauty of the Highlands, and we would love to come back for more focused excursions.
