An amazing trip with Mike. Mike gave us a true and amazing insight into the whole area and the history of the highlands and the Isle of Skye. Stunning views and Mike gave us plenty of time to view it all. Many Thanks

Excellent excursion! Beautiful scenery!! Our guide driver Liall was the most, super attentive and friendly, super fun, gave us time to take pictures, helped us to find the best scenery and explained absolutely everything. The most important thing: the playlist. For part of the trip Liall plays Scottish music and with references to Scotland, the landscapes and the story it tells you.

Our tour guide Alex was amazing and really tired to show us as much as he could. Even taking the extra time to go out to the most scenic spots if time allowed.

November 6, 2025. Our Isle of Skye tour with Alex from Timberbush was absolutely brilliant! He’s hilarious, full of energy, and knows everything, from Scottish history to the types of bushes along the road. His stories made the long drive feel short, and his passion for the Highlands really showed.

Despite some unfortunate weather, the trip was visually compelling and allowed for many worthwhile stops. My tour guide, Mike, was an enthusiastic and well-spoken man with an appreciation for his country. The weather might’ve weakened his spirits a tad, but I didn’t lessen my experience. While I liked every stop, I wish it reached a more exciting climax. The views started strong but were less interesting as we went along (maybe allow time for an optional hike up to the Storr or a smaller mountain in Portree?). I wasn’t too taken by anything beyond the Storr. That aside, the drive captured a lot of scenery and the Eilean Donan castle was amazing. Wonderful stuff.
