5.00This was my first time joining a night tour, and everything was perfectly organized. Walking into the dark forest was a bit exciting, but the sight of the fireflies was incredibly soothing and beautiful. Photos don't do it justice! Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island.

5.00I brought my two young children on the Ishigaki firefly tour, and I wasn’t sure how it would go — would they get bored? Would they be scared of the dark? Not at all. From the moment the fireflies appeared, my kids were completely silent, eyes wide open, just staring. As a mom, seeing that kind of pure wonder on their faces was worth everything. The guide was so patient and great with children — explaining things in a way that was easy to understand, making sure the little ones could see, and keeping the pace comfortable for our family. I never felt rushed or like we were holding anyone back. It was one of those rare moments where the whole family was completely present, not looking at phones, not distracted — just together, watching something truly beautiful. I’m so glad we chose this tour. Highly recommend for families!

5.00It was my first night activity in Ishigaki. As it got darker, countless tiny lights appeared in the forest, creating a magical scene like natural illumination. The guide’s explanations were also very interesting. Highly recommended when visiting Ishigaki Island.

5.00I joined the Yaeyama Firefly Viewing Tour with Ishigakijima Adventure PiPi, and it was a deeply moving experience. The tour was well-organized, and our guide was very knowledgeable about the fireflies' behavior and the island's nature. We walked into the dark forest just as night began to fall, and within minutes, the ground around us started to glow. It wasn't just a few lights—it was thousands of tiny, flickering dots that looked like a "carpet of stars" on the forest floor. I especially appreciated the strict "no photography" rule. It allowed everyone to put their phones away and fully immerse themselves in the silence and the natural beauty. Instead of worrying about getting the perfect shot, we just stood there in awe, watching the magical light show with our own eyes. It was a peaceful and unforgettable way to experience the wild side of Ishigaki!
