There is no better way to enjoy your visit to the island than being in charge of your own time and not being crammed into a vehicle with others and on a driver's timeline or having a guide rushing you. With Island Buggy Excursions, we will give you our suggested sites to visit on either the west end or east end of the island. Or we can customize your excursion based on sites you're interested in. It is then up to you to determine how long you stay at each stop. You'll enjoy driving one of the coolest vehicles on the island. Enjoy the fresh air and all of the beautiful sites. It will be a day you and yours will never forget. Please bring towels if you plan on dipping in one or more than one of the beautiful beaches.

What To Expect

Upon leaving Havensight, drive along down town Charlotte Amalie Harbor to your first stop at Emerald Bay Beach. Enjoy the beautiful crystal clear blue water and soft white sand. Stay as long as you want.

Brewer's Bay

After leaving Emerald Beach, drive through the University Of St. Thomas and park along the road and walk over to Brewers Bay Beach. Swim and look for sea turtles. If you're hungry, stop at one of the food trucks along the road and enjoy some amazing island food.

We got off a cruise ship in St Thomas and were looking for something a little different to do. We rented two buggies and toured around the island getting locations to visit and helpful hints from John via text which we then plugged into Google maps. Awesome way to travel with 7 adults and 1 child. John and his crew set us up with chairs and customized our trip because we had been on the island only last year. He sent us to places we hadn't been and made the day extremely enjoyable. Highly recommend

Island Buggy Excursions was one of the highlights of our trip to St. Thomas! I rented a buggy with two friends and the owner could not have been nicer or more helpful. He even put together a full itinerary we could follow, and the spots he recommended were private, beautiful, and totally off the beaten path. He also has parking arranged for his customers, which made everything easy. We loved experiencing St. Thomas in this cool car - 10/10 recommend!

The absolute best way to see St.Thomas!!! We walked off our cruise ship and saw the buggies and knew this is what we wanted to do. We met with the owner to discuss the process and were greeted like we were old friends. He spent quite a bit of time going over the mechanics of the buggy and then he let us know he could send points of interest via text which we could enter into our phones for directions. We choose that option and off we went . At one point he was unable to ping us and called right away to make sure we were alright. We had several people make comments like "THAT IS SO COOL" & "THAT LOOKS LIKE SO MUCH FUN." Many pointed while driving down the road and we were asked several times where we rented it from. The buggy was even equipped with a towel and a beach chair for each passenger .

The buggy was less than a year old and was a blast to drive. John, the owner, communicated with us the entire day to make sure we saw what we wanted to see. Time spent at each location was our decision.

Amazing dude. Amazing time. I cant recommend it enough. Nothing you can possibly get will come close to the amount of things you can do with these buggies. He gives suggestions on where to go and you can cover the whole island while blasting music. The dude who owns this is truly a good guy. Book this asap.

We rented a buggy for the day in St Thomas. From the minute we met John, the owner, we knew. It was going to be fun. He answered all our questions, gave us instructions on how to drive on the Island, gave us our first destination, which we put on our maps app, and off we went. When we were through there, We texted John and he gave us the address of our next place. He knew where we were at all times. We saw St Thomas in a very relaxing way. Had lunch at a resort and drinks at another resort. When my phone died, John even brought us a charger. (I borrowed a charger at the resort from one of the workers so I could text John) This undoubtedly was the best excursion we have ever been on. John and his son are delightful and very eager to make your ride an unforgettable one!. I urge everyone to rent from Island Buggy Excursions in St Thomas. You’ll love it!
