Great experience. JZ was my tour guide and he was hospitable and knowledgeable about the country and the islands we visited. I got to go snorkeling, eat some Filipino food for lunch, and hold a starfish. This was a very relaxing experience. I had to whole cottage to myself since I booked during the off season. This was a great way to see some of the islands from Manila. They even picked me up from my hostel. It is a long 2.5 hour drive there and 3.5 hour drive back. My driver was great and expertly navigated the streets. I just napped on the way back.

Our family of three visiting from the U.S. thoroughly enjoyed this. It is a bit of a trek from Manila (approx 3 hours each way), but totally worth it. For kids - we even had a stop where our ten year old was able to stand in the ocean, it was that shallow, and pick up starfish. The snorkeling spot was excellent, and the whole setup with the houseboats was very unique. It’s an excellent day trip from Manila, and unlike many others doesn’t require you get up at an absurd time to make it there and back. Thank you Via!

Andrei was an amazing guide. Andrei shared a lot of local details and information on our way to the Bamboo Cottage. We enjoyed swimming and looking for shells. The grilled lunch was absolutely delicious. Our family of 7, range in age from 77-12 and everyone enjoyed themselves. Highly recommend.

I thought this would be a great way to spend a day long layover in Manila for my family after traveling in Bali. I booked three weeks in advance. On the drop down menu for the tour, the airport was listed as a pick up/drop off point, but the night before my flight to the Philippines, I received a call from the tour guide that I would need to pay an additional $50 to be picked up at the airport and that my tour was then considered a private tour, rather than what I had booked because there were no other customers. We changed our last $50 into pesos and they picked us up. It took 3.5 hours to get to the location (advertised as 2 hours) with very little traffic on the way. The guide was very thoughtful and knowledgable. We learned that she was fired this day for disagreeing with her boss about the airport pick up fees. The location was horrendously dirty. Trash floating in the water. Snorkeling equipment was all broken and dirty. I got very ill from Bali Belly and we had to leave early, which was a god send. The drive back to the airport was 4.5 hours long, so I basically paid for 8 hour in a crappy van at the cost of nearly $600. I will advise Viator to drop this tour.

We rode the bamboo cottage up to batangas and it was amazing. We stopped for some food in Tagaytay and went around 4 different locations along little boracay. Tour guide Gerald and driver Malone are the best, great hospitality and cooked us a great lunch.
