• Great host - but this is not a relaxing chill in the desert kind of experience

  Harish was a wonderful tour guide and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He was warm, friendly, and thoughtful. He picked me up at the airport, brought me into the old fort for soda and tea, then took me on a brief tour of the old city before we departed for the desert. He was also very upfront with me about getting a commission on products sold at the places he took me to - the only tour guide to be this candid! I do have some feedback about the campsite part of the experience, which was not what I expected. I was imagining isolated, see the stars at night like I did in morocco. That was not the case. There was a performing arts stage in the middle with song and dance throughout the evening - which made it a little noisy for my taste Harish stayed with me for awhile after checking me in, the food was quite good, and the amenities of the glamping tents were very comfortable. Although there was a gaping hole in the wall next to the air conditioning unit which made it easy for mosquitoes and bugs to get in. Harish also got me a quick camel tour but the experience was not fun as other tourists (mostly Indian folks) were driven around on ATV's and pick up trucks, hooting and hollering at driving up and down the dunes at high speed.

  

  

  

  

  

  

• Glamping in style in the Thar!

  This overnight Glamping trip was awesome. Spent quality, relaxed time under the desert sky, far from the crowds. The stay arrangements in the tents were very comfortable as were the food and entertainment performances by local artistes. The staff was friendly, helpful and warm. The safari jeep rides in the sand dunes, the camel ride by the setting sun, etc. were a treat. All this was made possible by our tour guide Harish. He was excellent, well informed, resourceful, well spoken in both English and Hindi and took personal care of your every need. Highly recommended - the trip and Harish. - Soumya

  Our guide Harish was excellent! He took care of all of our questions and requests. Desert camp was nice and away from the road with interesting dances and great food. We booked with him also the tour to the city Fort in Jaisalmer. We had a wonderful time and memorable moments.

  Mr.Harish has organized a very perfect stay inside Jaisalmer and also in the sand dunes. the stay was just perfect. We were a family with kids, sand dunes camp was very excellent. Mr. Harish also very calm and helping us through out the tour, explaining all about the Jaisalmer. He was more than just guide. I would recommend for all. Great Harish keep rocking.

  We had a wonderful experience with Mr. Goswami. From the very first day we arrived in Jaisalmer, he made sure we had an amazing experience in every single aspect. He truly gave us a locals perspective of Jaisalmer, and worked tirelessly to ensure we got the most out of every place we visited. He tailored the itinerary to fit our schedule and our family's needs, and was very flexible with how much time we wanted to spend at a given place. Mr Goswami is an amazing conversationalist, as well as a great guide and photographer! He knows the best places to take photographs and will truly make them come to life. He explained Jaisalmer's history in great detail and made us genuinely love the city. He also tried his best to make sure that every single member of our family felt comfortable with him. Overall, we would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to visit Jaisalmer!

  Experience was awesome. Our camping was very close to sand dunes. Enjoyed camel ride and jeep drive. Later had a complete tour of city and Harish personally tour guided us. Very polite and professional. Overall a much enjoyed trip.
