Travel by jeep to the Troodos mountains, with the opportunity to see the beauty of the wild nature of Cyprus and visit the main shrine of the island-the monastery of Kykkos.
On the way to Troodos, we will visit the second largest dam in Cyprus - Asprokremos, and also, one of the four bridges of the Venetian era - Chelefos. We will taste the wines, and visit beautiful waterfall Chantara and on the way back, we will make a stop for bathing at the "stone of Aphrodite" where, according to legend, the goddess of love and beauty was born and went ashore.

What To Expect
Asprokremmos Dam
Asprokremmos dam is the second largest dam in Cyprus. It is built at an altitude of about 100 m above sea level. It is considered an important wetland for endemic and migratory birds
Tzelefos Bridge
Definitely the most known bridge of the island. Its popularity is due to the fact that that it’s the largest stone bridge ever build in Cyprus and goes over river Diarizos. Found in an area of rich green vegetation, the forest area engulfing it is beautiful and has various nature spots to be explored.

4.00We saw a bunch of different sites which was neat. Tour guide gave us a decent amount of time to explore each site. I wish we had had more time to explore the beach at the end though — would’ve been nice to see the sunset til the end. The reason this tour gets 4 stars instead of 5 is bc the vehicle was not comfortable. It’s a jeep but the back is two long benches so you’re facing the other half of the group at all times. You basically bump around the back (though there are pipe things above so you can hold them) the whole time as well — it’s particularly rough on the off-road parts. There’s nowhere to lay your head if you want to doze between sites. Would be better if they had small buses or split us into actual jeeps or something.

A massive thank you to our fantastic guide, driver and photographer Pavlos for making the experience so smooth, enjoyable and educational. Would recommend.

1.00Was outside at the meeting point, one jeep came for another family from our hotel and told us we would be the next ones. Waited and waited but nothing came. As stated in the email, we called the jeep company as it was over 10 mins late. No answer from them. Called the tour operator who eventually got in contact with the jeep company. I was then told the jeep company messed up and we weren’t down on the list at all! We had waited outside for 45 mins to then be told no one was coming and we were offered a change of day or excursion to which I said no as we go home on Friday. To say I’m not happy would be an understatement. I have been told my refund will arrive in a few days but it doesn’t make up for the fact that we had booked this tour to explore with our children who are now extremely disappointed.

5.00Great trip, bad communication by tour company. Delayed start as no name of the company collecting me was provided. After checking with several jeeps turning up at my hotel one driver helped by calling the third party tour company. After waiting 20 minutes past my collection time I was picked up and did have a very enjoyable day visiting lots of sites. One simply thing in providing the details of who I was waiting for would have helped get the day off to a much better start.

3.00It was an alright trip overall. However, for my taste, we spent a bit too much time at places that seemed more like “partners” of the safari, such as the winery, the food stop, and the village. The dam was also a very mild start to the day, with not much to see. Also, be prepared for the jeep experience. While we saw several vehicles with regular forward-facing seats, ours had us sitting facing each other, which got a bit uncomfortable during the longer drives. The guide was friendly, but I didn’t feel like we experienced each stop to its fullest. After chatting with another couple, it turned out their tour included more interactive moments, like stopping at banana plantations, picking fruit, and learning fun facts. Compared to that, our tour felt like the bare minimum or just slightly above it.
