I expected the boat ride to be a big part of this adventure, but it was the village, the children playing in the Sigatoka River, the adults preparing Tumeric in the water, the little girls dancing with my husband that really touched my heart and taught me what Fiji truly is. They treated us like kings and by the time we left, we felt like we were saying good-bye to family. And the speed boat was fun too... Thank you Captain Jack!

If you do anything in Fiji do this. this was the most epic day in my life, seeing the village in Fiji getting to meet the people, we got a tour, we had a kava ceremony, we ate, we danced, we had so much fun. we had Captains, leps, Ace, and Fini who were incredible. Getting to go to a village in fiji should be your top priority, if you can go to more than 1. The jet boat experience is also a fun edition! could not recommend this anymore, you will meet so many awesome people, wether that be in the village, the crew or other travellers, you will get to learn about the river and and the villagers. bring lots of water! and high energy as you will be dancing by the end !

We had a great day. Fini our captain was the best driver, I would trust her with my life shes so good. Lovely person, full of information and wow can she handle that boat! Village tour is beautiful, kava ceremony does take time and kids get restless sitting cross legged for half an hour in heat so keep in mind with kids. But just a beautiful village and people. Thanks Fini! Left at 8:30am, got back to resort just after 3 so was a longer day than we thought when we were booking a half day tour, would have liked to get back a bit earlier so we still had time in our day is only complaint.

We had an amazing time on the jetboat safari and village tour. Our driver was Fabolous Freddie and he was so nice and down to earth. He told us all about the village life as he himself still lives in one of the villages. He was funny, informative, and helpful. The jetboat ride was so nice and relaxing on the way to the village. The scenery was beautiful. And the best part of the tour was visiting the village and meeting the local people and children. It was such a humbling experience for most of us who have the money and means to travel to these amazing places. It just made you realize that a simple life like what they have is all you need to be happy. It was just a great experience. We travel a lot and that was one of the best excursions we’ve ever done. It was a long day come from Sofitel Denarau but totally worth it. If you can do one thing while in Fiji, do this. And to make it more exciting. Fabolous Freddie took us on a thrill ride coming back. He did a 360 turn on the jetboat not once, not twice, but 7 times. It was so much fun and you definitely get wet if you’re in the back. So bring extra clothes and a towel.

Do not miss this excursion. It was fun, informative and felt surprisingly culturally authentic. The children in the village will melt your heart. We had perfect weather so it was all good times in the jet boat. Our guide was great and clearly a part of the community.

Wonderful experience with Captain Fini. Everything was top notch from the collection from our hotel, to the registration at their intown office, the ride to the start venue with Lady Gaga and SpongeBob was very entertaining, the safety briefing, the jet boat ride with Captain Fini was excellent with great entertainment and very safe. The walk in the village and lunch, the kava ceremony, the exciting ride back to the base and the easy purchase of photos. And then the hand over to our 2nd tour with Off Road Cave Safari.

Do not hesitate, book this trip it lives up to all expectations. The staff are professional and safety conscious. The river trip is exhilarating . The highlight was the visit to the Fijian village. This was authentic with outstanding hospitality. An added bonus is knowing you are contributing to the culture and development of these ancient societies. Our family were aged between 16 and 74
