What To Expect

Steps to rent a jet ski: Before booking on Viator or TripAdvisor, please make sure the renter is 18 years of age or older. 1. Find us on Maps or Waze and get to our office (Arenal Water Sports- Rentals & Tours) 2. Fill out the rental agreement and provide a valid ID. 3. Watch the company tutorial for jet skis. 4. The hour starts when you start the jet ski on the water. 5. IMPORTANT: A $200 deposit in cash or card (this will be refunded if the jet skis is used properly and no damage is done to it) 6. Have serious fun in the water!

Incredible experience! Arenal Watersports is the real deal. The Jet Skis are fast and well-maintained, and the scenery is unbeatable. It’s such a unique way to see Arenal Volcano. The booking process was seamless and the staff was super friendly, shout out to Marlon! Highly recommend for anyone looking for some adventure on the water!

Jet skiing in La Fortuna was hands down one of the best things I’ve done during my trip. The company running it is absolutely legit and professional from the start. Before we even touched the water, they laid everything out clearly safety instructions, how to handle the jet skis, and what to expect. It never felt rushed or like they were cutting corners. Unlike some places that cheat you out of time, here they actually give you every minute you pay for, which I really appreciated. Once we got out on the lake, it was surreal. The water was calm, the volcano views were unreal, and the whole experience felt both exciting and super peaceful at the same time. Honestly, it was the most serene thing I’ve done out of all my adventures in La Fortuna. The staff also mentioned they’ll be adding ATVs soon, which makes me want to come back even more. If you’re debating what to do in La Fortuna, stop thinking and just book here. Out of all the options, this is the spot. Don’t waste your time anywhere else run to this place and go jet skiing. I’d 100% do it again without hesitation.

Magical! We rented 3 Jetskis from AWS, and had a FANTASTIC experience! We had 2 experienced drivers & 2 new drivers in our group, so the short training video of the Yamaha operations was helpful, in English and very clear! The team provided safety vests, emergency clip-on radios and assistance getting on/off. And, Rodrigo (and Micah!🐕) took photos/videos of us with the volcano! Super thoughtful :) Great team. Highly recommend! We enjoyed it so much we went back a second day in a row to go again! 😄 **Bring Sunglasses w/ STRAPS for best visibility, sneakers for the walk to the dock, and a towel. There IS a waterproof compartment on-board that you can bring ur phone for pics/vids, water, snacks. **Try to keep an eye on your time or you might have to pay a bit extra.
