After being picked up from your hotel you’ll travel to the adventure capital district of Fiji, Pacific Harbor/Navua to begin a journey to a world away from the cares of modern living. Take a cruise up the Navua river, past villages, farmlands, pristine tropical rainforests, deep gorges/canyons, meandering rapids and numerous cascading waterfalls. Stop for a refreshing swim in Navua Rivers biggest waterfall before leisurely ride on the unsinkable "HMS BILIBILI" (bamboo raft) a reenactment of centuries old only means of transportation down river. A Fijian warrior will escort you to the village meeting house to experience age-old customs and traditions with a customary welcome yaqona (kava) ceremony.. This sacred ceremony is only performed to visiting high chiefs or very important people. Learn the History of the village established by lone Englishman John Humphrey Danford. Cultural dances by the men and women of the village, tuck into your hearty Fiji buffet "Lovo" Lunch.

What To Expect

Duration of travel from your respective hotel approx. 2.5hrs - 3hrs. The whole day was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and happy. The boat ride was so much fun. The whole family loved swimming at the waterfall. A great experience would love to do it again.

If you want a true fijian experience filled with humility then this is the tour for you. This experience humbles you an makes you remember just how much we take the simple things for granted. You need patience and understanding for this tour and please take gifts for children in the village 🙏

We were initially a little hesitant to book this experience given that we are staying in Nadi and this experience is all the way on the other side of the island, but the three hour journey was absolutely worth it. Nem clearly cares deeply about keeping Fijian traditions alive and he does so in a way that is both educational and entertaining. Zipping down the Navua River en route to the waterfall was both scenic and thrilling, and the lunch that followed after was both authentic and a joy to be a part of. The people of the village were all so welcoming, I would highly recommend this tour.
