Jaswant Thada
Head out in the early morning with your English-speaking driver & Guide on a full-day sightseeing tour of Jodhpur city. First Stop Visit Jaswant Thada, a 19th-century royal cenotaph. The shrine was built in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant II in 1899. In addition to the monument, the site features spectacular gardens.
Mehrangarh Fort
Next Visit See Mehrangarh Fort, an important historical landmark and a popular Jodhpur attraction. Situated on a 150-meter-high hill, the fort was built in 1459 by Rao Jodha, the chief of the Rathore clan. You’ll find numerous beautiful palaces, galleries, ancient temples, and a museum inside the complex.

5.00This tour allows you to visit the main monuments of Jodhpur in comfort and according to your needs. The owners of the agency are very helpful and flexible: if you have special needs, just ask and they will know how to help you. Our guide, Vikas Bharti, was very knowledgeable and professional, as well as really passionate; he explained everything to us with great care, making every visit instructive and interesting. Having already visited (always with the same agency) the so-called “Blue City”, our itinerary included a visit to the memorial with breathtaking views, the fort, the residence of the maharaja and a tour of the clock market. Tour recommended for professionalism and availability!

5.00Great tour of Jodhpur! Would highly recommend! Our guide and driver are very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed all the places we visited including a few off the beaten path in the old blue city, a snack break in old city and wholesale shopping! Our guide was very knowledgeable about places such as Jaswant Thada, fort, measum! Highly recommend this tour, such a great way to see Jodhpur in a day!

5.00We had a wonderful day tour of Jodhpur with Balaji Tours. We visited Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Blue City, Umaid Bhavan Palace Museum. The highlight of the tour was Mehrangarh Fort - a very impressive fort on top of a hill, and very well maintained for tourists. The guide Amit was just awesome - he was very knowledgeable with all the sites, local culture and traditions, and he was able to explain in both English and Hindi. We had a very comfortable 5 seater Maruti Ertiga at our disposal for the entire day. Both the guide Amit and the driver Ray were flexible, and were able to customize the tour to our requests. I highly recommend Balaji Tours, Amit, and Ray.

5.00Vikram picked us up from the hotel and took us on a three-hour tour of the Blue City. He knew all the local spots and hidden gems, and it was wonderful to experience the city with a local. He then showed us all the main sights, sharing his knowledge along the way. Vikram was kind, flexible, and adjusted the tour to our preferences. You can also contact him through his beautiful Instagram page @facesofjodhpurbyvikas, where you can get a wonderful glimpse and true taste of his hometown. I highly recommend him!

5.00Had the most amazing day today with Prabhat, our guide and Ray, our driver. The car was spotlessly clean and comfortable, our guide and driver were immaculately dressed and made us feel immediately at ease. The tour was great; Prabhat was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Jodhpur and shared the facts, concisely and informatively. But more than that, he brought everything to life by sharing personal anecdotes about his own experience growing up in the Blue City and living in Jodhpur. Ray and Pradhat couldn’t do enough for us, from ensuring we had enough water, to treating us to street-side samosas, a tuk tuk ride, Diwali milk sweets and finally taking us to find spice tins in the local shops. I would highly recommend this, or any trip, with Pradhat and Ray.

5.00We were fortunate to do three tours with Prabhat, who was outstanding. (Walking Blue City tour, evening food stall with tasting tour and the city tour. His knowledge of the City’s history and culture were incredible and he brought things to life by sharing his family experiences. He is highly personable and was quick to recognise our needs and interests making adaptations to meet these, going above and beyond and never rushing us. 5.00Nadat we een eerdere excursie hadden geboekt voor een overnachting in de woestijn met kamelensafari hebben we deze tour geboekt. Ray had een fantastische guide geregeld: Kritarth, who is a Great story teller and knows about history, religion and all the sites we visited. Surely recommended excursions!
