What if I told you that most travelers never really see Johannesburg? They pass through its streets, snap a few photos, and leave thinking they’ve captured its spirit, when in reality, they’ve only scratched the surface. Beneath the skyline and busy avenues lies a city filled with powerful stories, hidden corners, and echoes of history that few ever get to hear.
Many visitors explore on their own, missing the pulse that makes Johannesburg truly come alive. Without a local by your side, it’s easy to overlook the details, the murals that whisper of resilience, the buildings that hold the city’s memories, the neighborhoods that shaped South Africa’s past and future.
That’s where our Walking Tour in Johannesburg changes everything. Your guide doesn’t just show you the sights, they bring the city to life, adapting every step to your interests. You’ll uncover iconic landmarks and secret gems, all while connecting with the real soul of this wonderful city.

An interesting tour learning about the history of Johannesburg's architecture. Mo, our guide was excellent. He set a good pace for us. We were lucky to be the only people on the tour so we were able to ask lots of questions. Johannesburg still has safety issues. So, a tour to learn and be safe is definitely the way to go.

Joined Mo for a walk around Joburg learning about the history of some of the fabulous areas and buildings .... the city was empty due to a public holiday being Youth Day so appreciative of the tour going ahead on such an important day in South Africa... for such a young man Mo had alot of information and I learnt alot on the walk around the city.. he was kind enough to walk me to my hotel as the tour ended close by... very nice considering the tour went much longer than advertised... definitely recommended

A highly interesting tour, combining history of the city with its architecture, and lots of opportunities to ask addition questions about the culture and daily life! I'd highly exploring this less visited part of Johannesburg on foot!
