A fascinating insight into life in Johannesburg & Soweto contrasting mansions, tin shacks & everything in between. Plus time to explore the Apartheid Museum at our own pace. Our guide Pastor was excellent & gave us lots of interesting information. We had a great lunch buffet that enabled us to try a variety of local dishes.

Excellent trip. Our guide and driver was KG. She was superb. Her knowledge of the country and the destinations was excellent. She arrived early for our hotel pick up and showed us loads of sights, including some walking tours around some of the neighbourhoods. Really well paced day. Would highly recommend this trip to everyone.

We got more than expected. Mr. Pastor explained the hills of the city, took us to site of the past FIFA Championship. The Apartheid Museum is a must. Mr. Pastor explained South Africa’s history before entering and allowed you to see the museum yourself and ask questions along the way. From here we visited SOWETO and got to walk in the township. Don’t be scared. I did not. This is a must see. You will appreciate your life. On to Mandela’s home and if you ask you will get to see the home of Bishop Desmond Tutu. All said a wonder tour and guide we wrapped up with a traditional African lunch and it was wonderful also!
