We're going to a hidden glen in the forrest that is known for its exceptional beauty and mysteriousness.
It is very unique place that has been used even as movie setting. It has a legend behind it that it was the Devil's favourite meeting place once, in the dark past. With that in mind, what better way is get this hike even more exciting than to visit at night, when there's nobody around, just us and nature itself.
Being alone in the forrest at night has a special feeling to it, it's complete freedom with no boundaries and being able to discover your inner spirit that is one with this Universe. It is magical, mesmerising and a meditation in itself. You can feel how this magical place comes alive at night and gives you a sense of serenity and adrenaline in the same time.

The Devil's Pulpit
Imagine a place that is mysterious, magical, looking like out of a fairy tale. It's already known as having a dark past and there has been a legend about it as one of Devil's favourite place where he used to preach to the Monks. Deep in the forrest, there's a gorge surrounded by 100 foot tall majestic rock formations, an out of this world hidden place where you feel remote from the world and only the moon is required to produce the most weird and awesome effect. The water is dark red, like blood flowing in the veins of nature itself. We'll embark upon a trip at night, riding through winding country side roads, enclosed by darkening trees, looking at the horizon, where the edge of the mountains meet the stars, gazing upon the grazing cattle on the fields, like ghosts of the past. When we arrive, we get on our head torches and head into the forrest, which comes alive with moths fluttering their wings and every breath you take, there's thousands of glittering miniature lifeforms right in front of your eyes. Once we arrived, everything is quiet and alive in the same time, you're one with Nature and your senses are heightened to the maximum. You're in awe and humbled in the same time.

I needed a burst of excitement for my trip to Glasgow. Something unusual I would otherwise have missed. I got that here, with an exciting trip to nature at dusk. For 2 hours I was physically and mentally somewhere else. I would recommend it.

The MOST amazing activity of our entire Ireland/Scotland vacation!!! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. He knew the route like the back of his hand and made our experience one that we will not forget for a long time. Hands down the best tour ever. Well worth the price if you are looking for unique and once in a life time experience. Dan and Shontelle - Canada

My friend surprised me with this adventure and I must admit this was once in a lifetime experience. I never ever was curious before visiting a forest at night time in the dark, but now I understand what I missed out on. We drove through some dark narrow country roads which had already an eerie feeling to it, but then we arrived to the forest and went on foot. The guide gave us some pretty powerful head torches which made things easier to navigate between the trees. The exciting part started when we had to descend into a gorge in the dark. It gave me a fright first when I saw the downward route but our guide was super experienced in terms of showing us every single and I mean Every single step. Like he knew the place with closed eyes or something. It was just so cool. Once we arrived to the gorge, you could hear the water gushing down between the rocks and just the sheer silence that went with it. We walked through the water barefooted and we spotted some really interesting looking fish, almost looked like a group of tiny eels. The biggest surprise of all was hearing some squeaky sounds and then some really cute otters appeared out of nowhere. I couldn’t believe my eyes! I would have never of thought seeing so many wildlife in the middle of the night. So so worth it ! I can highly recommend it as it is such a unique experience. Thank you and I hope to come back in the future.
