Oqba is an outstanding guide and an absolute pleasure to travel with. He is an excellent driver, photographer, videographer, guide, and interpreter—reliable, honest, and always on time (or early). His local knowledge saved me money on hotels while improving quality and location, and his recommendations for restaurants and traditional Jordanian meals were excellent. He went out of his way to help with everything—from finding an effective remedy for a persistent cough at a local pharmacy, to sharing knowledge of herbal teas, to creating great photos and videos along the journey. Oqba also provided an excellent Jeep tour guide in Wadi Rum and handled countless small but important details effortlessly, always looking out for my best interests. He consistently went above and beyond in ways that truly mattered. Highly recommended without reservation.

A good balance if you like to have a driven tour with an experienced and local driver but also the flexibility to book directly some accomodations or to ask for some customization in respect to standard tour itinerary. We chosed for a 6 days tour with driver and asked for some customization: PN Tours were very supportive and quick to answer. We were also very lucky with Firas our driver, and let me say that we found a knowledgeable person really pleasant having real good time but also learning about Jordan culture, history, society and real life. He also gave us nice tips for each day program. To me this is what makes the difference in discovering a place. If you go to Petra please take at list one full day and stay overnight . Start from very early morning to the sunset. Worth the effort .

The tour with PetraNightsTour was excellent. The communication whilst planning our holiday was good and prompt. I listed the key of the places I wanted to visit in the limited timeframe we had, and it was beautifully tailored for us. From the moment we arrived in Amman to leaving, everything was better than hoped. We had a private tour guide in the citadel, Jeresh and petra. They were both very nice, and knowledgeable. Our driver Oqba was excellent, he too was very knowledgeable and kind. If we were to visit Jordan again, I would use Petranighttours and request Oqba as our driver again.

Our 8 day trip to Jordan with Petra by Night tours with our private guide Tayseer was wonderful. There was so much history in Jordan from the Nubians to the Romans to the Crusades. Their archeological sites are so well preserved! The culture is welcoming and our guide Tayseer took us to the best little places to experience Jordan and its people and the traditional food. I recommend having a private guide as they know which sites to visit and how to manage your time to get the most out of your vacation and where to shop for traditional Bedouin wares. I have never been to the middle East prior and was a little hesitant when traveling but once we arrived, I felt safe and welcomed and truly respected even as a foreign woman. Our guide Tayseer quickly became a friend and welcomed us to Jordan like his family. There are definite must see sites in Jordan, Petra (obviously) but the different places like Wadi Rum and Kerak Castle are must do adventures. If you want a bucket list adventure vacation book with Tayseer & Petra by Night tours!

It was a great experience from the airport on arrival to the drop off on departure. My driver, Firas, was amazing and hospitable. He consistently checked in and made sure I was comfortable throughout the trip. It was like traveling with a buddy even though I arrived solo. I would recommend these excursions and maybe extend it a couple days if you can.

I would first like to thank Mohammad Najjar(guide) and Mohammad Masoud(Driver) for making this tour a fabulous experience. Jordan is a beautiful country, Jordanian's are welcoming, friendly and respectful. Once we arrived in Jordan, Osama was there to greet us, process the visa and took us to the minivan which was in excellent shape, very professional. We chose Petra Nights Tours because Sami was very open to modifying the itinerary to meet our needs. In Mohammad Najjar's words, 'You are explorers!" Off the plane into the minivan through the Jordan valley and on our way to Bethany to visit the Baptism site. A must visit, beautiful site including an old Orthodox church. Mohammad gave us a great history lesson with full of energy! Off to Madaba to see the oldest holy land map at St. George Church, wow did Mohammad ever have a great explanation showing us the sites we will see on the Mosaic map, what a beauty. Church was under construction but no matter, we saw everything we needed to. After a lively and entertaining chat in the van between Caroline, Mohammad, Mohammad and myself we arrived at Mt Nebo. Beautiful view of the Jordan valley and again Mohammad gave us a great history and geography lesson referring to the holy Mosaic map. We stayed at the House Boutique hotel and ate dinner at the Inas Restaurant & Cafe which was absolutely amazing. Well that was day 1, days 2 to 6 were absolutely amazing and I'll leave our itinerary below. If you want more details about our trip let me know as I do not wish to spoil it for you. Day 2 : Jerash Roman ruins in great shape, Islamic castle of Alien, Citadel Hill and the Roman theatre, must must must see! Day 3 : Wadi Al Muji photo stop, Kerak crusader Castle(so many tunnels to discover), Bedouin village and the Wadi Dana, we met up with Khaled and had an incredible hike and he picked herbs and would to make us Bedouin tea. We finished off at Shobak Castle and stayed longer than expected as we kept finding new areas to explore. We then arrived at the Petra Moon Luxury hotel and had dinner on the roof. We also met some people from our Viking Egypt tour which was awesome. A band starting playing outside for the locals between our hotel and the Petra entrance. Wonderful evening Day 4 : we visited Petra, Mohammad was amazing in describing the site, This is a must visit, plus I took a video with the Indiana Jones theme song in the background! We continued exploring Petra and then headed to Little Petra to see ancient civilization marking through the gorge of Six All Barid. There is a nice surprise in one of the caves. Off to the Bubble Luxotel, great stargazing evening and local dinner. The dome hotel was a great experience. Day 5 : Wadi Rum Jeep ride in a 1980 Land Cruiser was amazing with a Bedouin named Mohammad. Saw the 7 pillars, the rock bridge, Lawrence's house and spring, Khazali Canyon and walked around to explore the Wadi vegetation and wild life. We also stopped to take pictures of the orient express before making our way to the dead sea, lot's of chatter between our guide, driver and us which made the 4 hour drive to the dead sea seamless. We arrived at the Movenpick resort at the Dead Sea and had to say good bye to Mohammad Najjar as his part in our adventure ended here. We thanked him so much for the amazing trip, we definitely made a friend, actually he treated us like family. Day 6 : Wake up and have an amazing breakfast and on our way to the dead sea to bake in mud and float like a buoy. It was amazing. Mohammad Masoud was waiting for us at 14:30, always 30 minutes early, which was great because we wanted to get to the airport a little earlier to rest at the lounge. Breakfast was included as were a couple of dinners, we stopped at some nice restaurants to eat. Mohammad stopped a few places to get us some coffee, tea, fresh bread and dessert. I would like to point out that Jordan is very safe and that they have been significantly hit economically due to the current affairs in the middle east. Do not worry, book your trip and have an absolutely amazing time. I seriously recommend Petra Nights Tours and Mohammad Najjar as your guide and Mohammad Masoud as your driver. Hit me up if you want more details! Michel.
