Banteay Samre
Your day of past and present begins with an 8:30am pick up at your hotel. The first half of the day explores two highlight temples, Banteay Samre and Banteay Srei. Banteay Samre built under Suryavarman II and Yasovarman II in the early 12th century, it is a Hindu temple in the Angkor Wat style.
Banteay Srei
We follow Banteay Samre with Banteay Srei, one of Angkor’s most beautiful temples. Built largely of red sandstone, this gem of a temple boasts a pink color and some of the most exquisite depictions. When it’s time for a temple break, enjoy a traditional Khmer lunch before setting off for the rural countryside.

Really enjoyed this temple, went early to beat the crowds of rude disrespectful people. So different to the other temples small but amazing well worth the trip. Travelling here by tuk tuk was also a fun experience and we hot to see the villages and countryside close up.
