This wildlife viewing excursion takes you on a journey to see two of the major highlights in Southeast Alaska. You will be guided to the Mendenhall Glacier for a 45 minute self-exploration followed by our wildlife whale watching tour. Once you have had a chance to explore the glacier park on your own, we will take you to the whale watching harbor where you will come aboard one of our state-of-the-art vessels to search for majestic Humpback Whales and other water wildlife we may find along the way. Our expert captains and naturalists are so familiar with these amazing creatures that we can actually guarantee you will see whales in their natural habitat from a safe distance. Our boats are equipped with restrooms and heated cabins to make this journey extra comfortable. Our fleet of fast jet boats all have plenty of outdoor deck space so you can choose to watch the wildlife in the open air or from the comfort of the cabin. This is an Alaskan adventure you won't want to miss!

Great excursion. Loved the nugget falls. Most of the glacier is on your own the whale watching was good too. The driver, papa Bear, made the drive enjoyable.

Everything was amazing as far as the tour guides and the actual tours. I wish you had maybe 30 more minutes at the Glacier. 1 hour is not enough, we very quickly ran out of time and it was stressful to get back to the bus on time. If they offer a tour with more time, take it. That's my only complaint. Our bus driver was amazing and so were our boat guides. We saw lots of whales. Was an amazing experience.

We took a bus to Mendenhal glacier and was dropped off to explore on our own for a hour. We then went whale watching which is nothing like you see on TV. The whales were very far away. Bring binoculars! There was NO drinks provided. The snacks were one small granola bar and fruit snacks. We were very thirsty after 4 hours.
