DO NOT DO 4PM. The pick up was at 4pm and we got there at 4:45 pm. However, the ranch closes at 5pm so there were only 1 staff while we can visibly see all the other staff packing up and getting ready to go home. The one tour guide who ended up staying because Alejandra (the tour operator) told him to stay kept harassing us to “let’s cut the tour short so we can go home”. Not to mention there’s ZERO safety concerns with the horse running wild into the cactus areas and spiky plants since the horses anrenot perfectly trained. Incredibly dangerous for kids. When we got back to the ranch from the horse back after twenty minutes everything was closed and all the staffs have went home. On the table outside we see a plastic bag with two lunch boxes packed in styrofoam sitting out on the cold in a plastic bag. We were told to take it home and eat it but since I was curious I opened the lunch boxes in front of them and of course half the lunch is missing. The lunch was super cold as well. Afterwards we asked to do the mezcal tour guide but they told us the guide who is responsible for this have already went home. So of course we could not experience it. We then proceeded to ask about the shops and of course no surprise, that was closed too. I messaged Alejandra asap for a partial refund but she essentially told us to go away since we experienced the horse back. What a scam honestly. Finally not to mention the staffs do not speak English. The best part about this tour was the taxi driver unironically.

Beautiful ranch, horses, and great staff! We had a great day at the ranch. Tequila tasting was amazing! The hibiscus tequila is so good. Lunch was unreal, the tequila cheese was the best! Bring pesos because the gift shop has beautiful jewelry and leather bags, as well as other trinkets and souvenirs. A must do when in Mazatlan!

I enjoyed the time riding along the beach. Beautiful scenery. Would have liked to have moved a little faster. The group I came in was split between horses or ATVs. I had to wait around quite awhile waiting on the ATV riders to return. Communication wasn’t great.

This was a great experience. I am a gen X gal traveling with my gen z daughter. We are trying new things in this trip and booked the trail ride. A can picked us up at the hotel and drove us 30 minutes to the ranch. We were immediately put on horses- no paperwork or helmets. (Bring a hat- the sun gets hot!) We have experience with horses so we got started right away. We rode through the farm, through the trees (not jungle) and onto the beach. We took a break there and had a beverage. Then we completed the ride back to the farm. At the farm we had a delicious lunch. There were beef tacos, beans, cactus, and tequila queso. Afterwords we were served roasted plantains. Lastly we went shopping in the gift shop and bought jewelry. The owner even resized a ring and brought it to my hotel. These people are the real deal. The entire experience was great. I definitely recommend this experience.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the horse back ride. Lunch was delicious and the tequila too. We bought two bottles to bring home.

So after looking forward to this experience, waiting in a hot lobby for 45 minutes and then going back to the concierge because nobody picked us up. He did manage to get the company to refund the amount we paid, but I haven't seen it yet.

This was a great tour. Our guide didn't speak english but he was very nice and we were definitely able to figure it out with our tiny bit of spanish. Our 9&7 year olds rode together (being led by or guide) and our toddler shared a saddle with a parent. Adults should wear pants if possible. Lunch was delicious.

We had a wonderful day out at Rancho Mr. Lisano. Booking was super easy. We met our driver (Hector - who was awesome) outside the cruise ship terminal (in accordance with the directions provided). Getting to the ranch was an easy 30 minute drive or so. Hector was very friendly and spoke perfect English. The ranch itself was beautiful. We were warmly treated and headed out shortly after settling in with Jose on our horseback trip. Jose was wonderful and the trip to the beach and back (maybe an hour?) was perfect. We stopped halfway and enjoyed some beers/sodas that Jose brought on his horse, while our kids played in the sand/water before heading back to the ranch. Back at the ranch, we enjoyed a great meal (with drinks) and some wonderful company including Mr Lisano himself (who was wonderfully warm and inviting, showing us around and showing us his family pictures and history). While we ate my kids ran around playing with kittens and catching iguanas. When it was time to leave, hector drove us back to the cruise terminal with plenty of time to spare. All in all a super fun break from cruise life for a few hours and a great way to get out in the country a bit. The property was beautiful as was the beach - with nobody else out there. Everyone was super friendly and warm. I’d highly recommend this trip for anyone. We had my wife and I, joined by a 9 year old, a 7 year old and a 3 year old.

The visit to the ranch was an amazing day. From lunch (best coffee in the world) to horseback riding. Everything was perfect. We received like queens. We plan to go back next year.
