We had a great time, Ayra was very knowledgeable and we found out a lot about the limestone formations, mangrove tree sorts, we have seen some beautiful blue crabs, walking fish, viper, monkeys, beautiful eagles. The bats cave was interesting too . We really liked that the tour is trying to limit their footprint, no wildlife feeding. Thank you Ayra and the grand son of Jungle Walla owner( apologies don’t remember his name). Warmly recommended tour.

We had a great trip, Faris the guide was very informative and our kids enjoyed seeing the wildlife and the boat ride. Very small group, just ourselves and 1 couple.

We did our research and specifically booked the Mangrove Cruise by JungleWalla, as they do not support eagle feeding. It was a great tour hosted by our guide Jien, he told us so much interesting intel about the mangrove ecosystem and we really learned a lot. Of course, we saw other tour-companies feeding the eagle and even the monkeys in the mangroves to trick them to jump on the boats. Minutes later we drove past a monkey who’s head almost got stuck in a aluminiumfoil chips bag. So for us, it was definitely right dedication to go with Junglewalla. The water they provided us with was given out in recyclable glass bottles, so I feel they take their eco-gentle, sustainable approach very seriously. The tour was a great and offered a great mixture of both, entertaining and educational approach.

We did the JungleWalla Langkawi UNESCO Geopark Mangrove Cruise, I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and extremely considerate to us, the surroundings and the nature. Highly recommended if you care about making ethical choices and want in depth information about the flora and fauna.

This tour is the highlight of my holiday so far. Both our v active 12yr old son and teenage daughter liked it too. We had well-educated tour guides, who taught us about geological facts, and took time to point out wildlife. They also had raincoats on hand, and we wore life jackets on the open sea. It wasn't so humid at sea, so the life jackets were fine.

Jien was a fantastic guide, the tour was the perfect amount of time, didn’t feel rushed, we saw amazing natural habitats and Jien was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We learnt a lot about the mangroves and the local wildlife. Would recommend 😊

The best tour that can be done in the area for a very simple reason: the only one that does not feed wild animals for the terrible consequences that this entails. Includes a guide with explorations of why it is a UNESCO reserve. Help them. Help us all. Let's become aware together.

Beautiful day exploring Langkawi’s calm mangrove rivers. This is a great trip if you’re into conservation, wildlife and nature — not just a sightseeing cruise. Our guide was excellent, explaining the ecosystem and spotting wildlife throughout. We saw a family of otters, kites and eagles, plenty of monkeys, bats, and even dolphins on the way back out to sea, with glimpses of Thailand in the distance. I went late March — hot and humid, especially in the afternoon — but hardly any crowds, which made a huge difference. Not for everyone, but if this is your thing, it’s absolutely worth it.

Highly recommend this tour- we did a private tour in the afternoon with Jien and he and the driver went out of their way to make our tour extra special. Love that it’s educational and how much the team clearly care about the mangroves.
