The best tour that can be done in the area for a very simple reason: the only one that does not feed wild animals for the terrible consequences that this entails. Includes a guide with explorations of why it is a UNESCO reserve. Help them. Help us all. Let's become aware together.

Beautiful day exploring Langkawi’s calm mangrove rivers. This is a great trip if you’re into conservation, wildlife and nature — not just a sightseeing cruise. Our guide was excellent, explaining the ecosystem and spotting wildlife throughout. We saw a family of otters, kites and eagles, plenty of monkeys, bats, and even dolphins on the way back out to sea, with glimpses of Thailand in the distance. I went late March — hot and humid, especially in the afternoon — but hardly any crowds, which made a huge difference. Not for everyone, but if this is your thing, it’s absolutely worth it.

Highly recommend this tour- we did a private tour in the afternoon with Jien and he and the driver went out of their way to make our tour extra special. Love that it’s educational and how much the team clearly care about the mangroves.

We had booked a private tour in the afternoon with just 2 persons. Our guide Jien and the boat captain waited at the boat terminal. After a short introduction, we started our tour. Jien provided perfect background info on all things we saw. Topography, history, plants and: animals! We understood many unknown facts about animal species living there in the Geopark. Jien is very well educated and was greatly prepared for the trip. You can feel, that he likes his job. We appreciated, that no apes and no eagles were fed by us - to protect their natural environment and behaviour. The 3 hours of the trip passed by so quickly, as every minute was so exciting :-) The tour back over the open sea of Malaga was great. Thanks Jien and thanks boat captain for the great experience !! The trip was every Ringit worthy it.

Lovely informed guide Jain. You could see he and the tour company cared about the ecosystem and didn’t follow some of the practices of other boats like throwing food for birds which is detrimental to wildlife. Great tour and nice small group of 5 people.

Masyi was our guide, what a pleasure it was to spend the morning with her. We didn’t want it to end. Informative and interesting without exploiting the local wildlife. Highly recommended.

We had a great tour with Masyi and really enjoyed our morning in Kilim Geoforest Park. It’s great to see that Junglewalla are offering eco-friendly, small group tours that don’t feed the animals, but instead allow you to observe and learn. We would definitely recommend Masyi and Junglewalla to others.

Fabulous tour with Azri as a very knowledgeable guide and the brilliant captain steering through tricky channels Azri was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about preserving the environment and natures balance. Saw lots of wildlife up close in the mangroves and a great ride back at speed through the Andaman sea

We did a tour of the mangroves booked through our hotel The Danna. It was an excellent experience; I felt safe on the boat with our guide Azri and the captain, and there was a clear emphasis on respecting nature and the environment, which I appreciated. Our guide Azri was very knowledgeable and ensured that the excursion remained interesting at all times; we saw lots of interesting nature and I learnt a lot about Malaysia and its geology. Overall I thoroughly recommend this excursion provided by Jungle Walla.
