5.00Nozomi Kondo is an incredible tour guide. Her knowledge of Kanazawa and national Japan history is beyond belief. She treated us as a friend rather than a customer for the tour she was giving of Kanazawa. She was funny at the same time. Plus her English was impeccable. I would definitely recommend her to give a tour of this lovely town.

5.00Sachito Nakai gave us a wonderful day experiencing many different Japanese artisan crafts. We spent time with a gifted Ceramic artist and a Kaganui master embroiderer. Both showed us their stunning work. Also visited Samurai house and a few other things. I would highly recommend this excellent guide.

5.00Nozomi Kondo (our guide) was delightful and beautifully fluent ( trained as an interpreter ) - this made the whole day a real treat for us! We met two artisans ( one a master craftsman and the other almost a master as well) in their own studios - very intriguing and detailed explanation of their individual techniques and artwork (lacquer and silk painting artists respectively).

5.00We had the benefit of a truly wonderful guide, Sachiko Nakai, to help us navigate Kanazawa with her grace, charm, knowledge and excellent English. We met two incredible artisans and Sachiko was invaluable with her translation skills. We enjoyed a typical Japanese lunch and a tour of the Samurai district, with Sachiko providing both history and stories to bring life and the Japanese past, to life. Perfect day with a perfect guide.

5.00We spent a lovely day with Ai in Kanazawa and had a wonderful time despite the full day of rain. We started at the Omicho Market and it was great having a local explain all the different types of food there (and encourage us to step out of our comfort zone to try different things!). We also visited the Kanazawa highlights (samurai district, geisha district, the Kenrokuen Gardens, Kimono Museum, etc) and appreciated Ai's knowledge, excellent communication skills, and flexibility in tailoring the itinerary to meet our interests. 5-star experience!

5.00Sachiko is a fabulous guide. We were a party of six and she was able to meet all of our needs, in addition to making sure we left with a greater appreciation of Kanazawa’s history. She is personable and witty. Would highly recommend requesting her!!!
