Sachiko was an excellent guide in Kanazawa. She’s warm, friendly, and easy to be with, and she’s also very knowledgeable - sharing history and local insights in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. What we appreciated most was how flexible and accommodating she was, adapting the itinerary to our interests and timing and making sure we were comfortable throughout. Thanks to her, we saw Kanazawa with a deeper understanding and enjoyed every moment. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would absolutely book with her again.

Nozomi Kondo is an incredible tour guide. Her knowledge of Kanazawa and national Japan history is beyond belief. She treated us as a friend rather than a customer for the tour she was giving of Kanazawa. She was funny at the same time. Plus her English was impeccable. I would definitely recommend her to give a tour of this lovely town.

Sachito Nakai gave us a wonderful day experiencing many different Japanese artisan crafts. We spent time with a gifted Ceramic artist and a Kaganui master embroiderer. Both showed us their stunning work. Also visited Samurai house and a few other things. I would highly recommend this excellent guide.

Nozomi Kondo (our guide) was delightful and beautifully fluent ( trained as an interpreter ) - this made the whole day a real treat for us! We met two artisans ( one a master craftsman and the other almost a master as well) in their own studios - very intriguing and detailed explanation of their individual techniques and artwork (lacquer and silk painting artists respectively).

We had the benefit of a truly wonderful guide, Sachiko Nakai, to help us navigate Kanazawa with her grace, charm, knowledge and excellent English. We met two incredible artisans and Sachiko was invaluable with her translation skills. We enjoyed a typical Japanese lunch and a tour of the Samurai district, with Sachiko providing both history and stories to bring life and the Japanese past, to life. Perfect day with a perfect guide.
