Blue Field Tea Factory
Bluefield Tea Gardens was started by a visionary banker, Maurice Worms, in the early 1800s. Acquiring forest lands in 1841, he initiated tea cultivation, marking the birth of the small tea garden that evolved into Bluefield Tea. Over the years, Bluefield grew, weathering challenges and contributing to Sri Lanka’s tea industry. Today, Bluefield Tea is a story that continues to unfold with every harvest and every poured cup, inviting enthusiasts to savor the essence of this extraordinary journey.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I have had the best day with Tony visiting Nuwara Eliya by tuk tuk. Some guides just take you places, but as an experienced guide Tony teaches you the background behind the places and why they are significant, meaning I didn’t just visit temples and attractions, I understood them and their stories! Not only is Tony a very experienced and a fantastic tour guide, I never felt rushed and felt like I had time to enjoy every moment, this included hiking through tea gardens, taking photos at scenic locations and visiting the post office, where Tony helped me buy the right stamps to post home postcards! Thank you Tony for a great day!

did this day trip with rohan. he has been really caring and helpful. tailored to my needs. one thing not ideal is they take you to 2 shops before heading to nuwara, which was not written clearly in the agenda. and the tea factory visited is not blue field as it written. but overall pleasant experience. again my guide is good, highly recommend

I was traveling alone and looking for a round trip tour from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, but there was no big bus tour, only a private tour. What’s more, the rental price for a car is well over 10,000 yen, so I was about to give up when I saw this one-man tour in Tsuk Tsuk. The price was reasonable, and the Tsuk-Tsuk driver guided me to park where I wanted to, allowing me to take pictures and travel freely. It's tropical, so it's nice to take a drive with the wind blowing in Tsukutsu. It was very good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our trip from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya with Mr. Rohan was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, he made the journey so smooth, comfortable, and full of amazing memories. The drive itself was stunning — endless green tea plantations, misty hills, waterfalls, and peaceful countryside views. 🌿☁️ Rohan knew all the best spots to stop — from beautiful viewpoints to local tea factories and hidden gems along the way. His knowledge, kindness, and professionalism made the trip truly special. He shared so much about the culture, history, and daily life in Sri Lanka, making every moment meaningful. What I loved most was his positive energy and care — he always made sure we were enjoying, relaxed, and happy. By the time we reached Nuwara Eliya, it didn’t feel like just a ride; it felt like a wonderful adventure with a friend. If you’re planning to explore Sri Lanka, especially this beautiful route, I highly recommend Mr. Rohan. He’s one of the best guides you’ll ever meet — friendly, trustworthy, and passionate about showing the beauty of his country. 🇱🇰💚

Tony and Asham were fantastic guides during our trip from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. We stopped off in many places including an old tea factory where we saw how tea leaves were processed and managed to try & buy some tea. Thank you for the great experience!
