Blue Field Tea Factory
Bluefield Tea Gardens was started by a visionary banker, Maurice Worms, in the early 1800s. Acquiring forest lands in 1841, he initiated tea cultivation, marking the birth of the small tea garden that evolved into Bluefield Tea. Over the years, Bluefield grew, weathering challenges and contributing to Sri Lanka’s tea industry. Today, Bluefield Tea is a story that continues to unfold with every harvest and every poured cup, inviting enthusiasts to savor the essence of this extraordinary journey.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our trip from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya with Mr. Rohan was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, he made the journey so smooth, comfortable, and full of amazing memories. The drive itself was stunning — endless green tea plantations, misty hills, waterfalls, and peaceful countryside views. 🌿☁️ Rohan knew all the best spots to stop — from beautiful viewpoints to local tea factories and hidden gems along the way. His knowledge, kindness, and professionalism made the trip truly special. He shared so much about the culture, history, and daily life in Sri Lanka, making every moment meaningful. What I loved most was his positive energy and care — he always made sure we were enjoying, relaxed, and happy. By the time we reached Nuwara Eliya, it didn’t feel like just a ride; it felt like a wonderful adventure with a friend. If you’re planning to explore Sri Lanka, especially this beautiful route, I highly recommend Mr. Rohan. Tony and Asham were fantastic guides during our trip from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. We stopped off in many places including an old tea factory where we saw how tea leaves were processed and managed to try & buy some tea. Thank you for the great experience!
