If you are looking for something extra special, our 170 minute Edge of the Earth Tour will put you through your paces on some challenging terrain, rewarding you with stunning views of the Southern Ocean.
Whether you take the introductory option or the more challenging tracks, your expert guide ensures a safe, fun ride for all levels of experience (even kids are allowed to participate).

Minimum age for passengers is 4 years, for drivers is 6 years
Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants
Children 17 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 year or over.
We are located in Vivonne Bay, which is approximately a 90-minute drive from the Penneshaw ferry terminal, but unfortunately, we do not provide a shuttle service nor are there taxis/ubers on the island.

What To Expect
The most exciting way to experience Kangaroo Island's unique wildlife and scenery! Ride your own quad bike (ATV) or go as a passenger in a buggy (UTV) cruising through a wide variety of terrain. Your experienced Guide will give you the instructions you need to ride safely over rocks, around sandy corners and more, dependant on your abilities. As well as give you plenty of information on the wildlife that you may encounter along the way. All participants are fitted out with safety gear and instructed on the safe operation of a quad bike. Tours are tailored to be suitable for beginners and /or experienced riders. With different tours available, whether you are a young family trying quad biking for the first time, or you want a more extreme adventure and epic views, there is an option to suit you!

5.00The quad bike experience was absolutely fantastic. I was a little hesitant about letting my ten-year-old ride a quad bike, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Our guide, Fox — a giant of a man from the Netherlands — was incredibly fun, knowledgeable, and reassuring. He patiently taught my son how to ride and was equally understanding and supportive with both him and my wife. Fox constantly checked in with everyone, gave helpful tips throughout the ride, and made sure we all felt comfortable and safe. His knowledge of the surrounding area and local wildlife was excellent and added even more value to the experience. I would highly recommend this adventure to beginners and families. It was safe, well-run, and an unforgettable experience for all of us.

4.00Powerfull quads and great explanation, however would have been great to know upfront that you get really really dirty. And as it was quite warm if was really really hot with long pants on. My advise, wear long but thin trousers and shirt (not new/white)

5.00My wife, our 21yo son, and I went on the Quad biking guided tour with Nic. Nic was awesome and the experience was excellent. You need to wear pants and closed toe shoes as you’ll be hugging that bike and changing gears with your left foot. I of course forgot to bring my pants with me and they loaned me a pair of their motocross style pants to get me sorted out. That’s just the kind of great service they offer. Making sure you’re prepared, detailed and patient instructions, and starting slow to get you comfortable. The quads were in great condition and worked flawlessly. The trails offered flat and rocky/bumpy to give you a bit of both and some hills to go up and down too which is fun on a quad. Nic stopped periodically to explain the terrain, teach us more about the plants and animals, take a family picture or two, and make sure everyone was good. He was a delight and everything you want on a guide. Would highly recommend this tour and Nic as a guide. Thanks again!! -James
