What To Expect
Join a mosaic art workshop in Karpathos and craft your own beautiful piece to take home. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned creator, young or young-at-heart, you’ll feel right at home in the cozy, inspiring studio. Enjoy three hours of creativity and calm, surrounded by Mediterranean nature and guided by passionate local artists. Bring your ideas—animals, flowers, a Greek eye, or something uniquely yours—and turn your vision into reality. Choose from a rainbow of mosaic tiles, shimmering glass pieces, and work on a wooden base—everything you need is included. Follow step-by-step guidance from your friendly instructor, ensuring anyone can create something special (no experience needed). Once your masterpiece is complete, have it grouted together for a perfect finish. To ensure your mosaic sets beautifully, it will stay in the studio for at least 24 hours before grouting. Your artwork will be kept safe until you pick it up, or it can be delivered to Pigadia for you.

5.00What a beautiful experience. I went with my 8 year old daughter who absolutely loved it and wanted to go back many times. The area is beautiful in the mountains, Renate is an extraordinary amazing beautiful artist/mother/woman who has a beautiful energy in helping you get your creative side. I recommend this 100% and if we ever come back to Karpathos we are going back to a workshop!

5.00Highly recommended, in a top location. Very Quiet and Pleasant Mood. Renate is super sweet lady who picked us up at our hotel. The two girls and I had a good time. At home we can enjoy our beautiful souvenir and workshop.

5.00We were 6 both children and adults who made mosaics with Art and Walk, we enjoyed the experience in amazing surroundings and were all very happy with what we achieved. Renate is inspiring and quick to help. Everyone was super happy o something we can really recommend.

5.00It was such an amazing experiences with a breathtaking scenery in front of you. It was one of the most valuable souvenir you can get in Karpathos. I could really recommend for anyone, with friends or families or any kind of form of visitors. It was also in a way of meditating and a nice way of digest beauty of Karpathos. Not to forget to mention, amazing hospitality!

5.00My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop! We have gotten souvenirs from our travels, but what better way to remember a trip then to create a work of art from it. Renata was the perfect host and instructor. She had so many materials and colors to use for our mosaics and gave us the freedom to chose what we wanted to picture, but also gave us guidance as to how to depict it best with sizing and for durability once it was cemented. My husband was amazed by how fun it was even for him and actually got lost in creating his project. I loved every minute especially being on the covered patio while overlooking the vineyard and island. We hope to return again sometime!

5.00We had booked a mosaic workshop at Art and Walk Karpathos. Both not really creative, but we thought it would be great fun. Upon arrival Renate was super nice and what a beautiful place they have. A very nice outdoor space where the workshop is given. We got a short, nice explanation and were allowed to get started. So much fun to do! Plenty of tiles available to make / use beautiful pieces. We enjoyed making our own little artwork for three hours. Renate was constantly available to help, gave good tips and thought along very nicely. And in the end we left with two mosaic circles of which we are quite proud! What a must this workshop is, even if you are not very creative. We now have unique souvenirs to take back to the Netherlands, as a memento of our wonderful holiday on beautiful Karpathos. Renate, thank you!! How much we enjoyed the mosaics and your company!
