Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Day Tour Details:
• A representative from a company will meet you at the hotel/airport and brief you about the day tour program
• If you are leaving from the Hotel; after an early breakfast, you will be taken for the day sightseeing in four major places in Kathmandu such as Kathmandu Durbar Square Or Patan Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath (Monkey temple), Boudhnath, Pashupatinath Temple.

What To Expect
Himalayan Windows Tours
We begin today’s sightseeing tour with a visit to Swoyambhunath also called as Monkey Temple; a 2500 year old site, it is said to be the Radiant Lotus of the valley-mythology settled when the water was drained by Manjushri, the god wisdom. The Five dhyani Buddha attended by their consorts are enshrined at the base of the stupa, then continues tour into Boudhanath. The Boudhanath Stupa is the world’s largest Stupa and of Tibetan Buddhist Culture in Nepal. Antique shops where you can buy things of you preference relating to Buddhists religion such as Thankas and etc. After the Boudhanath, you will proceed to Pashupatinath Temple stands along the side of Bagmati River. It is the sacred temple for Hindus. Thousands of people including foreigners visit this temple everyday; this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, is also a site for Hindu Cremation. During the festival of Shiva Ratri, the temple is crowed by hundreds of thousands of devotees. In the afternoon, you will visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square; also known as Basantapur Durbar Square including Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev and Parvati Temple, Machhender Bahl – holy place for the Buddhists and Hindus, Temple house of Kumari, the vestal virgin or the Living Goddess. Due to the devastating earthquake happened in April, 2015, some of the temple are destroyed and impacted but still worth to visit. Alternatievely, we can also go for Patan Durbar Square instead of Kathmandu. After completing a day tour excursion, you will be dropped-off to your reserved hotel.

5.00Visiting Bhutan requires tour package and planning, and sending money in full to a foreign travel agency and then relying it to apply for visa clearance is nerve wrecking. I put my faith in Himalayan Windows Tour and it delivered! Reviews on TripAdvisor are 100% accurate. From the moment I signed up and paid, Anup immediately contacted me with a series of emails explaining of the whole process, then provided the date the visa clearance letter would be issued and delivered. When Anup learned that I would be flying to Bhutan from Kathmandu, he personally brought a hard copy of the visa clearance to my hotel. A pdf format was sent by email. The tour was certainly everything I expected and more. A personal guide, Mr Buddha, and a driver, took me everywhere and cared for me during the whole trip. Without their assistance, I would not be able to visit and hike up to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery.

5.00Took a trip to Nepal (Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Patan, Bhaktapur) &Bhutan (Thimpu, Punakhar, Paro). Got the agency from google. The experiences & services got from Anup and team during the trip exactly as others said is excellent , from the first day I asked through email until went back to airport. They created a pckage and itinerary as my preference. Nepal & Bhutan both are rich in culture and the scenery is breathtaking. Really recommend

5.00After Pandemic, this is our first trip together. Himalayan Windows provided us a marvelous trip. The extraordinary guide tour, Mr. Anish. He has tons of information. Every story he told us is amazing. Mr. Driver is wonderful. His driving skill is perfect! We went to Pokhara and Bhaktapur and also seeing the sunrise as well. And Mr. Anup, he is wonderful owner. He facilitates everything and check on us regularly. Mountain view is really amazing. I can see the Himalayas from my bed. The hotel and the transportation are great. Every meal is wonderful. We tried almost every delicious meal here. Chinese food is the best for me ><. Nepal is breathtaking. I feel so calm when I be there. Everywhere is like a magic. The temples, shrines, monasteries and stupa are so sensational. I really do love Stupa and eyes of wisdom. The goddess temple is so amazing too. Their products are so unique like Thangka and the healing bowl. I already recommended Himalayan Windows to my friends. If you want to be here, be here with Himalayan Windows. The perfect way to see the Nepal, see Nepal with amazing local.

5.00We had the opportunity to go to Nepal with Himalayan Windows and had a wonderful experience. Anup coordinated our trip Bhutan as well. Everything was set up and ran smoothly, from transfers to daily tours. All we had to do was show up and everything else was taken care of for us. Anup was very responsive to all of my emails. 5.00Our 13-day tour around Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan would not be so fulfilling without the organization to the very small detail by Himalayan Windows Tours. The proceedings with the visas to Tibet and Bhutan, the daily sightseeings and moving around the places were all well planned in advance. As well, our ad hoc requests for tours were met with immediate action by Anup. We highly recommend the service of the agency if you want to make a trip to those countries but do not have much time to be off. Such reliability, flexibility and high standards are rare and much appreciated taking into account the variety of options the travel industry offers,
