What To Expect
The experience begins at Stockholm Nature | Kayak & Outdoor Tours, located near the city center. From there, you are driven to the archipelago, which is about a 30 minute car ride away. After a short introduction to paddling technique and safety, the group sets off in stable sea kayaks. Double kayaks are used by default for comfort and stability, but single kayaks are available on request. Paddle between quiet islands, enjoy stunning views, and with a bit of luck, spot sea eagles, deer, or other wildlife along the shore or even a curious seal in the distance. Take regular breaks to relax and connect with nature. Midway through the tour, the group stops on a remote island for a freshly prepared outdoor lunch. A refreshing swim is possible before enjoying coffee and pastries during a traditional Swedish fika. Expect three to four hours of kayaking, with a pace and route adapted to the group. No previous experience is needed, and the small group size creates a personal and relaxed atmosphere. Local guides lead the tour and share stories about the surrounding nature and island life. This is a calm and scenic outdoor activity, suitable for all skill levels.

5.00Had a great time. Fortunately the weather was optimal. The trip was not too long and was manageable, although my arms were spent by the end. It was not particularly windy, but the trip could have been more difficult if it had been. Friendly guide and an all around goid time.

Bobby, our guide, was amazing — so friendly, knowledgeable, and made everything easy and fun. The pace was relaxed, so we could really enjoy the scenery. 5.00Great day with Rene. Saw lots of eagles and had a lovely Swedish lunch and fika on an island in the archipelago. We had a mixed ability group and he made sure everyone was safe and enjoying the day. As a note, if Rene says you'll be warm enough, believe him.

5.00Jasmin was such a great guide! We ended up being the only 2 people on the tour. It was right before midsummer the typical location was busy so she took use elsewhere in the south archipelago and it was incredible! We saw 4 eagles and she even pulled over for us to see a moose. She answered all of our questions and was a very great guide, we were very lucky to be able to hear about her life experience and learn about Sweden. We are slightly experienced kayakers, but it was pretty strenuous. The water was very calm though which was helpful. I would highly recommend this tour.
