What To Expect
Uluwatu Temple
The history of this landmark is ancient and intriguing. Inscriptions mention that Uluwatu Temple was instigated by Mpu Kuturan, a Majapahit monk who is also credited for the establishment of several other key temples in Bali.
Kecak and Fire Dance
the Kecak dance performance. During this dance, hundreds of men in black and white sarongs, sitting in a lotus position and raising their hands, say monotonously "ke-cak-ke-cak". Men are sitting around the platform on which the dancers, in the light of the lamp, tell the story of Rama and Sita.

5.00Great personal driver tour to see Uluwatu Temple with Kecak dance, visit to Padand Padang beach and transport to dinner (in Jamibaran Bay). Our driver Lądek, was very polite and helpful, he made sure we are in the right place and right time. He also knew best spots to takes photos and videos of us at the Uluwatu Temple. I am very happy we chose to book thos particular experience :)

5.00Best family fun outing. Driver was flexible and considerate. The beach was beautiful and well worth seeing. The show was funny with amazing costumes. Our driver made sure we didn’t arrive too early or late and that we had the right view. He took us to an ATM and a supermarket after the show on the way home and was very knowledgeable, friendly capable driver.

5.00Doni was an incredible guide! A proper Balinese gem, he took incredible care of my family. He was prompt and the ride to Uluwatu was comfortable. He’s very knowledgeable of Balinese culture and the temple, and gave us tips on how to avoid crowds and queues. He was also super flexible around our pickup and drop off requests which helped us so much when travelling with a baby. The Uluwatu temple and Kecak dance were highlights of our trip. We wandered around the temple grounds and watched less fortunate visitors fall victim to the monkey bandits. The dance was such a spectacle and the kids loved the performers enthusiasm and dedication to the story telling. Definitely a must do if visiting Bali!
