Great if you want to know the history of the track and how the derby traditions started. The movie really makes you feel all the work that goes into preparing the horses for race day.

We enjoyed everything from the mint juleps to spending time near the track. There happened to be a race while we were on the tour so that was a bonus. Fun tour that taught us a lot about both current racing and the history of it. Enjoyed being in a place we had only seen on TV before. We would also highly recommend traveling to Lexington to attend the farm tour, and a stop at the Keeneland track. Those two tours gave us a more complete picture of horse racing in Kentucky.
