As the original electric bicycle tour in Southeast Alaska, we're excited for you to join us on an easy, enjoyable ride on the "road to nowhere". This road dead ends at the edge of the dense Tongass National Forest, an extensive wilderness where you will then take an enjoyable, guided, educational hike along a well maintained trail beside an active salmon spawning stream. The hiking features a beautiful waterfall along the path as well as stunning beach views with potential to spot intertidal creatures, black bears and marine mammals along the coast. The dense rainforest is the highlight of the loop trail through the Tongass and is always changing throughout the season. After enjoying your guided hike you'll return to your e-bikes to cycle back to our marina for smoked salmon snacks along with vegan options and beverages. All our tours provide round trip transportation from both the Downtown Cruise docks & the New Dock at Ward Cove. Excellent rain gear is provided should you need it.

Chandler and the rest of the staff were amazing! It was definitely a wonderful experience. They had a delicious snack for us afterwards. The salmon dip was so good!!!! I definitely regret not getting the recipe

I am a senior woman, at least 10 years older than the other riders. I kept up fine. We rode for half an hour to a forest in the beach. I did not walk the steep section of the walk. Instead one of the tour guides took me down to the beach. Two other people joined me. Then we walked back to the bikes and rode another half an hour. It was an excellent tour and I really enjoyed it.

We were riding on a well traveled highway with little shoulder. I had a large work truck turn right in front of me causing me to fall off the bike. I had expected to be riding on a trail.

The experience was great and we lucked out and had a beautiful dry and sunny day! The E-bikes were great to help with hills etc. without too much strain on the riders, just the right amount of exercise. Chandler and Leanne, our guides were very knowledgeable and accommodating to us 'newbies' learning the fine points of e-bike operations. The rainforest is a beautiful and fascinating place which comes alive with our guides knowledge about the plants and trees. The hike was just the right amount for us and your guides can customize paths and distances to accommodate your needs.
