What To Expect
You are booking a Dive Trip for certified divers on our 50 foot Dive Vessel. This is a combination dive & snorkel trip. Established in 1972, Sea Dwellers Dive Center is the longest standing dive shop in the Florida Keys! Locations can include: Molasses Reef, French Reef, Christ of the Abyss and more than 100 other incredible sites!!! Our Trips include 65 MINUTES PER LOCATION of "pool's open time" (time from end of dive brief to boots-on-board time), more in water time per location then any other operator in the Keys! We include: tanks & weights, ice water, cookies & complementary reef-safe sunscreen. After booking your trip, please email us at [email protected] or call us at 305-451-3640 to provide the following information: -Diver certification level(s) -How long ago your last dive was -Do you need/want to hire a guide? -Do you need to rent gear? 5.00Came back to diving after a casual 15+ year “surface interval” 😅 and somehow didn’t immediately forget how to breathe underwater—thanks entirely to Emily. She’s basically a scuba wizard. With one look, she unlocked skills I didn’t even remember having. Then at Pickle Reef, she turned into an underwater detective—spotting eels, crabs, sharks, and fish I would’ve swum right past like “nice rock.” Meanwhile, she’s out here cleaning the reef like an eco-superhero, grabbing snapped fishing line and debris. Tony, our mate, was part coach, part comedian, part professional boat-wrangler—getting us in and out of the water while keeping the vibes. And Captain Dave? Absolute legend. Rain, waves, mild chaos—didn’t matter. He drove that boat like it owed him money and got us there safely. 10/10 would trust him with my life again. Big shoutout to Sea Dwellers for an unforgettable day. Emily, Tony, and Dave = certified MVPs. I came back rusty and left feeling like I might know what I’m doing again.

5.00Sea Dwellers is a top notch dive shop in Key Largo! My husband and I dove with them April 5th and it was an awesome experience! We have been SCUBA diving with three other dive shops in Key Largo and ifor our future dive adventures in Key Largo we will definitely choose Sea Dwellers again over the others. The staff is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and safety oriented. Emily, (dive guide),, David, (Captain) and ,Merlin (Captain in training) were our crew and they worked well as a team to provide the best experience possible. The conditions were challenging and we felt the crew had our safety in mind and communicated well with us and each other. They also made the experience fun with their excitement for the sport and great personalities. We also loved that they displayed a true concern for the ocean and rhe environment!

5.00I just completed my Open Water Diver course with Sea Dwellers in Key Largo. I never thought I’d be able to do it after a disappointing experience in Cozumel doing a Discovery Dive. If you are considering learning to dive…THIS is the place to go. Small, personal shop, great equipment, FANTASTIC instructors. This was an absolutely terrific experience and I can’t begin to say enough about them. My instructors were Leslie and Tony and they were both so patient, knowledgeable and thorough. All the other instructors talked to me and were so encouraging as well. These people aren’t just trying to make money, they truly want to share their love of the sport with you and take so much time and care to make that happen. Thank you Sea Dwellers and all of your staff (particularly Leslie and Tony), I am forever grateful for introducing me to the sport of diving in the best way possible.

5.00I took the open water scuba cert with dive instructor Jasmin. She was very patient with my novice skills and gave me the confidence to finish my certification. The crew was especially clear in expectations on the boat and I feel like safety is a top priority.

5.00Went down with some friends for spring break 2026. Boat crew was great. Captain Jeff is thorough and fun. Boat is spacious, Comfortable and dive briefs are great. Crew makes sure you are taken care of. Emily and Dave are amazing dive guides. Highly recommend

5.00Got certified with SD in 2024, came back to dive with them in 2026. Both times were a great experience, Captain Dave & Jasmine were professional and fun. Our group went unguided but Leslie (instructor) was also a pleasure on the boat. I like this dive shop because of their dedication to divers safety and rehabilitation the reef ecosystem.

5.00I AM OBSESSSSSED with Sea Dwellers. The entire staff is absolutely amazing!! I went solo for my padi scuba cert , not knowing what to expect! To my suprise i not only was matched up with the best group ever, but also the best instructor.. MERLIN the magic mustache man! Seriously though, he treated me so kind and being the only girl in the group (and the smallest) I didn't feel like I was treated any differently and merlin was sooo encouraging and made me feel SAFE. I cant wait to come back already and hopefully maybe work there in the future... again I'm obsessed with the entire team. Much love guys!! Cass Craig

5.00Our family group of 5 had the best experience with sea dwellers dive shop. Our day started at the holiday inn pool with Tony and jasmine giving us training in scuba diving. We spent the afternoon with them on a dive boat. We scuba dived in 2 different places on the molasses reef. Tony and jasmine took good care of us. We had successful dives and the very best time. The communications by text and email days and weeks in advance were very good. I highly recommend this dive shop and in particular the instructors jasmine and Tony.
